Predatory billing
I’ve used outschool for years but their recent changes where you have to sign up for a “membership” and have prices obscured for billing is predatory. Even after you think you have turned it off you keep getting billed and there is no way to contact anyone to discuss.

Please know that membership is now optional; it is no longer required to take classes on Outschool. You can browse classes, view schedules and pricing, choose a time, and enroll by checking out with a payment method.

Outschool has been a wonderful experience for my homeschooled daughter (age 16). She especially loves her creative writing and art classes. So many wonderful teachers.

We have loved using outschool as a way to supplement learning
We have loved using outschool as a way to supplement learning for our kids. We have done academic classes, as well as play and dance classes. I’d highly recommend this platform for anyone interested in adding extra fun and learning for their kids.
The teachers are awesome. The payment is simple. You can do a subscription or one time classes.

A Valuable Homeschool Resource
Outschool was the first educational online website that I trusted for my kid 6 years ago, and I still turn to them today to aid in my children's learning journeys. We've been around through the growth and shift to membership based classes. Change is always difficult, but I understand that this structure works best for educators and parents. As a homeschooling family, being able to take classes over an extended period of time helps my kids to learn more, form bonds with their educators and classmates, and truly grasp onto what they're learning. My family's favorite part about Outschool is being able to find classes for a myriad of topics. As a homeschooler, I can't teach every single subject, and I know that when I turn to Outschool, I can find an educator that is well-versed in the subjects my kid wants and needs to learn about, and the educators are EXCITED to teach it!

Outschool is one of my favourite things to use for my children's home education. I have found it really easy to use. They used to have just memberships but recently added pay weekly options and that is really helpful! It is budget friendly and so many options that I get tired looking!

Outschool has been an amazing addition to our homeschool. It allows my kids to get to explore interests and get help with something they are struggling with from the comfort of our home. The teachers my kids have had have all been amazing professionals that are helpful and encouraging! My son has been in lessons with one of his teachers for over three years and has grown by leaps and bounds. I highly recommend outschool.

We love our outschool classes!! Have used it for everything from a one time specific topic seminar/class to ongoing tutoring & courses. My daughter recently said she wishes there was a similar system for over 18 yr olds, bc while she is still in HS, she will graduate from using Outschool at her next birthday & she’ll miss it!

We have been Outschool users for about…
We have been Outschool users for about 6 months and we love it! I love the flexibility that kids can choose what and how they learn. They can find educators that match their personalities and make learning fun! We utilize the membership and it meets our needs well as a 2 child family. We don't currently use state scholarship funds for Outschool but I know that you can.

Outschool is an amazing platform! I use it to supplement my classes as I homeschool.
My children take over 3 classes each. And they love them! They take core classes as well as the “fun” ones. We have taken private classes, group classes and self-paced classes which are pre recorded and usually open a new lesson weekly. I love that we can do a subscription and save in buying bulk credits or do pay as we go. The payments are easy it comes out automatically Sundays. It’s also very easy to cancel. I pick the days and times that work for us and find the teacher and class we need. I also have PEP so I can easily filter classes that are Florida Scholarship Approved and save myself a hassle!
We LOVE OUTSCHOOL!

I'm a big fan of Outschool because of the excellence of the teachers and the reliability and safety of the platform. We've found so many wonderful teachers on Outschool. Any issues I've run into with missed classes or registration problems have always been immediately addressed by Outschool or the teacher at my request.

My kids have used Outschool for the last 6 years for enrichment classes but also core classes as homeschoolers for the last three years. The literature courses my high schooler takes on Outschool hands down rival — or even beat — the college level classes I took as a writing student. I love the way accommodations for neurodiverse learners can be built in, and the wide array of classes available for personalization for each learner.

We love Outschool so much!!!!!!! My daughter does Minecraft and Roblox coding! The teachers are amazing and it’s very affordable for one on one classes. So glad we found them!
