Pass Program is the way!

I am so grateful to God for leading me to the Pass program. I came into the program with a lot of knowledge but it was scattered all over the place. I went to the pass program and my life completely changed! I passed my qualifying exam for step 1 and I also passed step 1 and now I am celebrating with my family. If you are not sure what to do and feel lost in your step 1 prep I would recommend you try the Pass Program. The atmosphere in the classroom is unlike any other you will experience, there is so much peace and the knowledge and information you receive is worth the price and time! I can't wait to go back for step 2 God willing! Glory to God who makes all things possible!!

Why I recommend the PASS program

I don’t think I really understood medicine before coming to the PASS program. Dr. Francis really helped me look at the bigger concepts of medicine, understand what normal physiology was, and taught me how to put together the right mindset to answer questions. I highly recommend the PASS program to any medical student, I truly feel like the current system of relying students to teach themselves is not conducive to higher education. This is the first time where I felt that someone properly taught me medicine.

Dr.Francis teaching style was engaging and dynamic ,encouraging even the most reserved students to actively participate and learn!I passed Step 1 and am so thankful that I took the step to come to Pass program in person! Disappointed—Not Worth It for Step 2 CK

I had high hopes for the Pass Program Step 2 CK On Demand Course after having a great experience with the Step 1 On Demand Course, but unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment and a waste of money. 1. Practice Questions Are Awful – The questions are poorly worded and nothing like actual USMLE-style questions. Instead of helping me reinforce concepts, they just frustrated me. 2. Low-Quality Notes – The course notes are riddled with errors and not helpful at all. They don’t add much value and feel poorly organized. 3.Lectures Are Not Engaging or Effective – The lectures feel like I’m just watching a classroom session instead of being taught. The instructor reads straight from the slides and provides minimal extra insight, making it feel like a passive experience rather than an active learning tool. 4.Lack of Depth & Explanation – There’s very little emphasis on clinical reasoning or high-yield Step 2 material. It doesn’t break down Step 2 concepts in a way that’s helpful for applying knowledge to vignettes. I purchased this course because the Step 1 version was great, but I deeply regret buying the Step 2 version. If you’re looking for a structured, high-yield course that mirrors the USMLE format, this is NOT it. Save your money and go with a better resource.

This is not a classic course for the USMLE steps; it is way better. It has helped me to remember why I love medicine so much and understand the basic concepts before even trying to memorize all the books.

A Valuable Tool For Those That Need Help Tying It Together.

PASS has been a huge boon for me, having spent months doing nothing but memorizing flashcards and drilling questions. If you are like me and struggle with reasoning your way to the right answer, this program can quickly identify holes in your learning. I was able to pass Step 1 because Dr. Francis taught me the basics I missed even when I had memorized much higher order information, and with that I was able to reason my way to better answers while taking my exam.

After nearly giving up on the USMLE preparation due to stagnant NBME scores and limited review courses in India, I discovered the PASS Program through an online search. After an undesirable performance on STEP1, I Called Dr. Francis and made my way to Houston to do the in-person class. The PASS program stands out as the most effective method for teaching medicine beyond just exam preparation. It's designed to help students make connections that make learning medicine enjoyable. The supportive community fosters higher learning. My journey has been marked by challenges, including adapting to pandemic-era education and overcoming setbacks. However, perseverance and finding the right resources, particularly the PASS program, were crucial to my progress. Just trust and take the course

PASS Program equipped me with the knowledge necessary to pass my board exam as well as hope and inspiration to push forward despite past difficulties. Dr. Francis and the other instructors taught every day with enthusiasm and passion that made the long lecture days very enjoyable. I don't think I have ever enjoyed lectures to the extent that I did during the PASS program, and that really helped the material stick. You will understand things that have never been explained to you in the past, and will have your mind blown almost on a daily basis. Invest in yourself and put in the work. I am still clickin and movin to this day.

I graduated from Medical School more than 10 years ago. PassProgram helped me gain the confidence and knowledge to pass STEP 1. You will learn medicine in a very logical and effective way. This course not only helped me pass STEP 1 but also get my GP Medical Licence in Puerto Rico and excel in my training program.

THE BEST BOARD PREP EVER

I could talk about the PASS Program for days, but I will try to keep this short. This program was the best board prep company I have ever used (and I've used multiple). Dr. Francis not only presented the information in a way that made sense and helped me get my brain organized, but he also instilled confidence in me again. I was on month 4 of dedicated board study without significant improvement when I started the PASS Program. After just 5 weeks of the course and 2 weeks of doing practice questions on my own + tutoring, I was able to jump over 100 points on the COMSAE and be eligible to sit for boards. The 3 months of studying before the PASS Program I listened to other peoples advice: lots of practice questions, take notes on what you miss, review topics based on what you miss, use these resources, etc. None of that was bad advice it just didn't work for me. The PASS Program completely changed the way I study. I could never just read a book and keep the information straight before the program but I was able to actually learn and understanding from reading instead of trying to memorize like I had been. I would and have recommended the program to everyone that asks about my boards journey. Truly my only regrets with the program are not doing it sooner and not being able to attend in person, but it was still a great experience online and I still made great connections through the program!

Different from the Rest

This program is excellent and exactly what I needed. It is not like other programs that only cover content on the surface. Dr. Francis emphasizes deep understanding which leads to better recall. This program also fixes bad brain habits. With his 5-step method for test taking you can confidently answer test questions much better than before. I passed the exam due to this program.

I was feeling discouraged and overwhelmed, but after completing the 5-week live online course and revisiting the on-demand videos multiple times, I not only passed my qualifying exam but also Step 1!
