Having traveled with my groups using Passports Travel for almost 20 years, I cannot imagine using another company. While I was teaching high school, I led student tours; now as a retiree, I lead adults-only tours to Europe. Passports is consistently responsive to my concerns and the resulting product (tour) is superior.
From the very beginning (the planning process), the representatives always listen to my requests and include them in my tours. When I have a question, I will always get a response either from my representative or another person in the office.
The hotels we have had during my adults-only tours have been nothing short of spectacular! From a gorgeous Vienna hotel that Mozart lived in to an amazing centrally-located stunner in Prague to my most recent hotel in Athens complete with a pool and enormous breakfast spread! Passports has been hitting homeruns with my adult travelers!
I do not always include meals (dinners) in my adult tours since adults like to do their own thing at times. When meals are included, they have been delicious--all dishes are representative of the country being visited. The food has been excellent over the years!
The activities on tour are always interesting and culturally immersive. Our tour guides are locals with knowledge beyond compare!
I will continue to offer adult tours for as long as my energy level will allow it! I plan to continue traveling with Passports as well!
We were well taken care of from the planning stage to our return home. Our trip coordinator was always helpful and promptly returned emails. Our tour director tried to give us meaningful experiences including several cool-off dips in the water during the unprecedented heatwave. Our hotels were top quality, comfortable, and breakfast was always well-rounded and plentiful. I've traveled with two competitors and can honestly say that Passports gave superior service and quality for our money from start to finish. I highly recommend this company and loved our France/Switzerland tour!
This was my ninth adult tour with Passports! That tells you how much I trust them. I am overwhelmed with the expertise and knowledge of putting together these amazing trips! As you know, adults can be more demanding than students. On my trips I have a core of 25 repeat travelers and always have a waiting list! ((25-40 travelers in the groups)
My most recent trip, Fabulous Scandinavia, was just as the title indicates, fabulous! The itinerary, accommodations, meals, transportation, excursions and our amazing local guide throughout our travel were outstanding!
I have no suggestions for improvements because there isn’t a need for any.
I highly recommend Passports to all who are interested in an educational and reputable company who listens to the needs and wants of its travelers.

Our group had an amazing 11-day journey and Passports played s big role in that amazingness. Our city centered hotels were wonderful; our authentic dinners were delicious; the local guides were knowledgeable and personable; and our flight to and from were carefully selected. Every aspect of our tour was
thoughtfully and carefully planned. And, our tour director was incredible, making sure everything flowed smoothly.
Excellent collaboration in terms of respecting the proposed itinerary and staying in touch with any changes - I appreciated their integrity at every step.

I have been traveling with Passports since 2016. Everything about this company is excellent, professional and student centered. The best thing about Passports is how they listen and truly care if your student is having a good traveling experience. The staff is quick to respond, extremely knowledgable and always professional. Booking tours is an easy online process with ready help available. The tour guides on the ground are simply outstanding. In my most recent visit with students in June of 2026, our tour guide had to deal with a broken foot(mine) and a lost passport. He did so without missing a beat and without sacrificing the enjoyment of the rest of the group. If you are considering traveling with your students, this is the company to use.

The Best Student Travel Experience I've Had
I've traveled internationally with both Passports and EF Tours, and the difference in quality was immediately noticeable. Passports provided a much higher-end experience from start to finish. The hotels were consistently nicer, but the biggest difference was the food. We dined at excellent restaurants throughout the trip, and every meal was outstanding. It made the experience feel much more authentic and enjoyable. Our tour director, Paul, was exceptional. I'm sure there were plenty of challenges happening behind the scenes, but you would never have known it. He handled everything professionally and seamlessly, allowing our group to simply enjoy the experience. If you're comparing student travel companies, I highly recommend Passports. It offers a truly top-tier travel experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to travel with them again.

Passports Travel is the Best!
Writing from the standpoint of a teacher and group leader, this is the BEST student travel company anywhere! Having worked with others, I can tell you from first hand experience just how much better they are and why. First, it's a smaller company that's very hands-on. They are responsive to client needs and always seek to improve the quality of service they provide. The tours are well researched and thought out. Unlike other companies, Passports always chooses some of the best hotels that are centrally located. Dinners are served at local restaurants and consist of menu items as opposed to buffet-style meals in hotels. Tours can be customized for small groups that don't require the merging with larger, unrelated groups. Lastly, tour guides are among the very best to be found. Passports isn't always the cheapest, but for only a few hundred dollars more, they are the best! What may be a student's once in a lifetime experience isn't the place to cut corners - consider it an investment. With Passports, you won't regret it.
I cannot say enough things about Passports Company
I cannot say enough things about a tour with Passports behind the wheel. The piece of mind I have with them. One day before our trip to France I had gotten an alert from the Versailles app that Versailles would be closed the day our group was to go there due to the G7 Summit. Passports took care of rearranging our itenerary and all the tickets to all the places that had to be moved around. I didn't have to worry at all and we were still able to visit all the places that were planned. At one of the hotels one of the rooms had major issues and Passports took care of everything with the hotel directly, as group leader I didn't have to worry about anything and the issue was immediately resolved. Everyone on our trip enjoyed the events/hotels/restaurants/meals that were planned. They felt like they got to see all the things they wanted and even things they didn't know they wanted to see. Our guide Paolo was incredible and could interact and relate to all the different personalities in the group. All of the location guides they scheduled were very knowledgable and engaging. The president David met our group for dinner one night in Paris. This says alot that he takes the time to actually visit the tours and see for himself how they are going and talk to the people on the tour.
So we are currently on a tour in France with Passports. So far it's been awful. The tour guide is unprofessional, drinking while on the job, extremely rude and inconsiderate to the fact that Europe is on extreme heat weather alert. Our tour guides have forced us to attend sightseeing even if the monuments have been closed due to weather advisory. We have been walking in 100+ degree weather for blocks on end taking the metro which mind you France is not A/C equipped anywhere. Our tour guide is also very rude questioning parents about where their own kids are going when they're simply just trying to get to the hotel to rest and get some AC. A girl passed out on the boat tour. This company needed a backup plan since they knew France was experiencing a heat wave before we got here! We are forced to wake up super early so "we can leave early" but them the tour guide doesn't have our tickets for the museums we're going to and then we have to wait for him. If you are thinking to plan a trip with this company don't. Please don't. We are teachers who travel primarily through EF in Latin America and wow, the culture in Latin America would NEVER allow anyone to be in danger without our own bus means of transportation with AC! The food that we've been served has been flavorless. One of our parents described it as "barn food". It's really sad because out of this experience I don't even want to visit Europe anymore ever!

The safety and well-being of our travelers are always our highest priorities, and we are taking the concerns you've shared very seriously. Our operations team has been actively working with our overseas partners, local guides, and ground suppliers to review the situation. We have also arranged for an additional Tour Director to join the group to provide extra logistical support for the remainder of the tour. As the group continues to St. Malo, temperatures are expected to be a bit cooler than those experienced in Paris as well.
In addition, our team is actively coordinating with restaurants, attractions, and other local partners to make adjustments wherever possible, including confirming meal arrangements for travelers with dietary requirements and identifying opportunities to adapt the itinerary in response to the extreme weather conditions.
We understand how physically demanding Paris can be, particularly during extreme heat. While the city's restrictions on motorcoach circulation, parking, and access mean that walking and public transportation are sometimes unavoidable, we expect our teams to adapt when conditions warrant by adjusting the pace, incorporating additional rest and cooling breaks, and minimizing unnecessary exposure to the heat whenever possible.
We are also reviewing the concerns you raised regarding your Tour Director's professionalism and the report of a traveler becoming unwell. We are investigating each of these matters with our local team so we can fully understand what occurred and address any issues appropriately.

As a teacher and group leader, my experience with Passports Tour Company was outstanding from start to finish. The pre-planning process was smooth and easy, with a wide variety of tour options to choose from. They provided helpful pamphlets and guides for meetings, which made organizing students and communicating with families much more manageable.
Throughout the entire process, their team was consistently supportive. They checked in regularly and offering assistance whenever needed. I always felt well-informed and confident that everything was on track.
The travel experience itself exceeded expectations. Our flights were direct, which made travel days much easier with a student group. The hotels were centrally located and within walking distance of most major sites, allowing us to maximize our time and experience the destinations fully.
Our tour director was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The local guides were engaging, well-spoken, and added meaningful insight to each location we visited. Meals that were included in the tour were delicious and offered a nice variety, which students appreciated. Transportation throughout the trip was clean, comfortable, and efficient.

Having used another tour company for three previous tours I was hoping for a better experience than we had from them. Exceptional Student Travel!
I've traveled on two Passports tours and both were absolutely incredible. From central hotels, to authentic restaurants, to incredible guides, it can't be beat. I've traveled with other student travel companies, Passports is leap years ahead of the competition. They don't stick your students with strangers so they keep 3 students in a room. They give group leaders their own room, it's heaven! They work with you to give you personalized, direct, and frequent communication. They have an incredible app that makes communication with travelers, group leaders, chaperones, and parents a breeze! We were able to share pictures all in one location. I love this company and can't say enough about them.

3.5/5. There was more support in arranging the tour and recruiting than the preparation for the actual tour itself. I did not have accurate contact information for my in country tour director, nor were my airline tickets set up correctly with included checked baggage. I understand that Passports contracts through other companies, but it is still their job to ensure that everything is set up properly. The trip itself went well and was well planned, educational and enjoyable. As a language teacher, the purpose of this trip was cultural and language immersion, and I would like for there to be more opportunities for that language immersion. I thought having a “bilingual tour guide” meant that some of the information would be presented in Spanish, which is to no fault of the tour guide (Marco was amazing!), but is something that needs to be laid out more clearly by Passports. This is my first trip like this, but having inquired with and briefly worked with a few other companies, I chose Passports based on their responsiveness and flexibility in cancellation, both of which were great. The food was repetitive, and felt like they missed opportunities to showcase authentic cuisine, but it was still good. As a whole, it was a good trip and experience for the students, but left something to be desired for the teachers.

Fabulous Experience
Just returned from a fantastic adventure to Ireland & Paris. What a truly high-quality fantastic tour. Passports does a wonderful job from pre-trip to the day you arrive home. The staff are always available & wonderful to work with both state side & abroad. The Tour Directors are very knowledgeable & flexible to meet the needs/requirements of your group. Although they are most known for travel with High School students, this was an adult trip. They went above and beyond to provide a wonderful, educational & personal experience. I highly recommend working with this company for any age traveler.
Passport is excellent and taken care of all of us on the tour. Their hotels are located in the city center so when you have free time, you can go explore. The restaurants that they choose are excellent and so are the local guides. I would highly recommend any teacher planning a student trip to use passports over other companies that seem to spend more on their advertising then on providing good services during the trip.
