Everything about our trip ran smoothly! Alejandro was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about everything to do in Peru, and he was able to help us tailor our entire trip to just the things we were interested in seeing, while still being able to recommend a few that we might have otherwise missed. My wife and I have traveled extensively, and Peru For Less gave us a truly memorable vacation!!!

urpi has been most helpful to arrange all the travel connections & keep revising my itinerary to suit my perference.. overall experience was great.. all the pickups from airports/train stations have have been seamless, arranged day trips with different tour providers are perfect, and guides provide helpful information. only hiccup for me is at the peruvian/bolivia land border at copacabana where i need a visa (supposedly visa on arrival) but was told visa can't be issued by the officer on-site.. and after much hassle, i decided the visa can't be issued on time & i will miss & need to forego all the itineraries in bolivia (meaning a no-show!). it would have been great if the arranged bolivian agency could have checked about the visa as i could have sufficient time to apply the visa at the consulate in puno.
Family Vacation 2026 This year we went to Peru 14 days was not enough time some day we shall have to return Peru For Less provided an excellent Itinerary. This agency listened to what we wanted and did not want. They spent plenty of time working with us on pre planning to ensure every aspect was met. We worked with Ego Rojas who lives in Peru. Note when he was not available somebody on the team would respond within a reasonable time via email, text or phone. The coordination efforts were quite extensive, getting 5 people together from 2 continents. The added difficulty is PFL had to come up with two scenarios. One is that only 4 persons would make trip. Second scenario is all 5 persons would make trip. One family member had quite a lengthy process to obtain a visa. PFL kept on top of this process and provided all necessary documents to the Embassy. We all arrived on the same Saturday; however we were on 3 different planes. PFL was awaiting our arrival (s). We were all greeted warmly and pleased to meet Ego. Ego and the PFL provided excellent itinerary and service while in Peru. The team ensured that we progressed from place to place with consideration to the elevation changes. The hotels they chose were clean provided breakfast and almost all close to the city/town centers which allowed us time to walk around and enjoy the communities and restaurants. Wish we had more time as some had spa services. Transportation to and from our activities for the day. We never had to guess when we were to be picked up each day and where we were going. Yes we did vans, buses, small planes, boats, and train. Food Have to tell everyone — one person ( mom) has to worry about what to eat every day. Prior to traveling Ego talked me thru what foods they had, suggestions and even took down my food allergies ( PFL even relayed this info to the Tour guides each tour guide and/or drivers made sure while we were together that I was taken care of) Myself as well as my family appreciate this courtesy. The variety, presentation and freshness of foods everywhere we ate was exceptional. Yes we did try some new foods and traditional foods to the area. Tours We can not say enough good tings about our time. The guides and drivers were friendly and helpful. Our first day we kept free as a buffer for travel we luckily all arrived Saturday morning , got to the hotel rested and cleaned up. And then we enjoyed our first day in Lima. As our family enjoys being able to get together the added benefit of meeting at different locations is we can experience what we read about or learned in history or see in tv. As I mentioned previously PFL worked with us to provide a superb Itinerary We spent time wandering Lima Walking thur Miraflores and Barranco. In Barranco we did a Food Tour which was great experience. Here are some of the wonderful activities and sites we visited: Nazca Lines, Island tour. Saw sea lions, pelicans, little penguins and a lot more birds. Arequipa the white City, Colca Canyon amazing to see Condors, Uros Floating Islands on Lake Titicaca with friendly and welcoming people, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Many Museums, churches, town squares, Dancers. Let’s not forget to mention the Lamas, Alpacas and vicuña and the guanaco. We visited many historical sites and ruins. Tour guides providing detailed information. We even learned a few words of two other languages Quechua, and Aymara. Of course the highlight was seeing Machu Picchu we went to this site twice first day with a guide on route 2 in the afternoon and second day route 3 on our own in the morning. The 3 guys hiked up Huyan Peak. It is very impressive to see in person. Whilst we rode around a small portion. Of the country we were impressed by many sites. Trouble did we have any. Problems One minor glitch PFL has a 24 hour line they fixed it immediately. We never missed any of our tours nor activities. Future We are hoping that we can travel to Peru again someday. We had a terrific time in Peru! I have already recommended a friend. We climbed Huayna Picchu to the top! That was tough but exhilarating. I thank you so much for your recommendation and assistance in figuring out which excursion to take. On the first day, Ruben our guide was VERY knowledgeable and animated. He had great ideas for creating memorable photos of Machu Picchu. It was certainly a pleasure working with you and your team. You were very professional, prompt and accommodating. I left a sweater in one of the vans when returning from Aguas Caliente and the driver returned to the hotel to bring it back for me. That was super sweet. The itinerary you prepared was perfect. We had a great time and we feel blessed for the experience overall.

We had a wonderful experience discovering Peru ! Peru for Less is the real deal and it exceeded our expectations ! Our Advisor Ego set up a great itinerary for us. We talked on the phone early on and i told him what was important for us to see and he completely delivered. Our Itinerary was spot on! All of our rides were on time and everyone was helpful and friendly. I know this is not always the case with many services but we had a 10 day travel itinerary with Peru For Less and we had zero snags.. Zero! Now my daughter and myself are experienced travelers and we always expect something to go wrong and are always prepared for the worse, but i must tell you, our itinerary was spot on and very exciting with again, zero problems from start to finish. One time i had a question and called our advisor just because i was not clear on a line in the Itinerary and all was explained and all moving parts came together every time. It was a lot of transfers etc and it all worked and worked well.. I was very impressed. Everything was great! From the beginning to the end. Tours, coordination, and communication. Peru For Less is a top-notch company. The Inka Trail adventure was as expected- amazing- where the alpaca team went above and beyond. We only spent 9 days in Peru and regretted it. We needed to stay two weeks at least...!!! I highly recommend Peru For Less for your future trips. They are highly organized and take care of your needs that may arise at any point during your trip. This recommendation is based on my own experiences with them. Special shoutout to Andrea Orellana for her patience and prompt responses in accommodating and customizing the many changes we requested for our trip. One instance was when we added Machu Picchu Circuit 3b at the last minute. They were able to quickly accommodate this and worked with our guide so that we could complete Circuit 3b as well as the other circuit we had chosen. Finally, the hotels they booked, Tierra Viva and Casa San Blas, were great too. We had a pleasant experience staying there. We had an early morning flight from Cusco, and the staff at Casa San Blas offered us and provided a packed breakfast. Overall, it was an amazing and well-coordinated trip. I will definitely use their services again in the future.

Arianna planned an excellent itinerary that stayed within our budget. At the Amazonia Ecolodge, we enjoyed the rustic cabins, the good food, the beautiful compound, and most of all, our expertly led expeditions. While in Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu, we had nice accommodations in good locations. We loved the small tour groups, and all our guides did an excellent job. Our connecting transportation was on time, courteous, and had nice vehicles. We would gladly book with Latin America for Less again.

Peru for Less was such an easy company to work with and were ready to answer any question we could throw at them . What would we do different? - maybe included some additional sites . They customized our trip to our wishes . No large groups. Our highlights were taking a small airplane over the Nazca lines and marvel how they could have been done . Then it was waking up on my 79 th birthday to the hotel staff singing me Happy Birthday and giving me a cake at breakfast ! What a surprise and then it was off to Machu Picchu to walk among the ruins . Finally there was the Amazon and sighting a Jaguar and her 2 babies as we traveled down the rver to our Lodge . We were pleased with all our accommodation and each guide was amazing . They spoke English and were only too happy to help with pictures . And not certain how I coukd forget the FOOD! We loved it and all that Peru for Less offered . Wrll worth the experience,
Exceptional service and flawless execution from start to finish! We had an amazing experience booking with Peru for Less. The Planning: It started with an easy online interest survey. Andrea Carrasco contacted us within 24 hours. She was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, helping us transition seamlessly from Plan A, to Plan B (when my husband got involved!), to our final Plan C. The Accommodations: All the hotels were great, featuring excellent breakfast buffets. A special shoutout to Casa San Blas, which we absolutely loved! The Team: The drivers were incredibly professional, punctual, and helpful. The tour guides were absolutely excellent—we learned so much from them. This was a truly amazing experience. We recently completed an enriching journey in Peru, which included visiting Machu Picchu and taking a cruise along the Amazon River. The trip proceeded smoothly at every connection point, and the tour guides demonstrated extensive knowledge throughout the experience. Most accommodations were of high quality and exceeded our expectations. However, the only exception was the hotel in Iquitos, which we would rate 2 stars for its cleanliness. We had an amazing experience with Peru For Less! They were so helpful and trustworthy for our trip. Our agent, Ego was with us throughout the whole planning process and while we were in Peru. He gave us great recommendations and tailored our trip to our vision. Our guides for our excursions were extremely passionate and knowledgable. There wasn't a question they couldn't answer. Peru is an incredible country with a fascinating history, incredible cuisine, and wholesome people.
My experience as a solo senior female traveling to Peru for the first time was as close to perfect as possible from the initial planning to my trip home. I cannot say enough good things about working with Rossy to plan the ideal trip personally for me. She was always open to my suggestions and changes. Hotels were clean and comfortable with good service. All personnel were so efficient and organized with instructions and entry tickets. Guides were professional and knowledgeable and perfectly willing to go at my pace & make adjustments for my back and knee issues, especially at Machu Picchu. The train trip from Cusco to Titicaca was relaxing and luxurious—really my only day to relax. I was met on time with a smile and friendly greeting at every destination as well as at the beginning of each day’s tour. I loved seeing that sign with my name on upon every arrival, even at 5:00 am. Drivers were friendly, careful, and helpful with luggage. Tours were all good to excellent. Would have liked more time in Sacred Valley, especially in Pisac and Ollantaytambo with more time to explore towns & a few less ruins. In hindsight, I should have booked an extra day or two. The best tour ever was to Chimu Island; my guide Rayna And I were the only visitors and were treated as very special guests. The host family was so accommodating and friendly—wonderful hosts. The two shopping places we went to—women’s weaving coop outside of Cusco and silver factory (forgot where) had very high quality merchandise and fair prices. Bonus activities included feeding the llamas and alpacas plus sampling empanadas from a wood fired oven in the back room. Peru for Less gift bag was also a nice touch. I felt safe and well taken care of during my whole trip. I will definitely use Peru for Less for my next trip and will be happy to recommend them to anyone planning a Latin America trip. When traveling, mistakes happen and problems occur, however, how the tour company handles these situations can say more about who they are than when the standard trip rolls along. Peru for Less rose to the challenge when our trip did not happen as originally planned. I strongly recommend Peru for Less as a knowledgeable and quality tour company. We booked a small group 6-day itinerary that started in Lima, went to Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and returned to Lima after a final day in Cusco. Two weeks before our trip, Marilyn, (Peru for Less, Lima Office manager) sent me an email stating they had failed to order our Machu Picchu tickets. Over the course of the next few days, the Peru for Less team created with us a new itinerary that included some private tours instead of the group, they identified specific in country personnel to help us at each stop of our tour, assisted with our in person purchasing of the Machu Picchu tickets, and arranged hotel and dinner reservations to mesh with the new itinerary. As a result of these changes, we saw all the original planned sights and had a wonderful time. What impressed me most was that Peru for Less owned the mistake. They were open and honest and dedicated to make our trip work. I don’t remember all the names of the drivers and helpers Peru for Less sent our way, but the following people worked hard to ensure we had a great time in Peru. • Marilyn – Manager Lima Office • Milagros – Travel Advisor • Marilu – Tour guide in Cusco • Stephanie – Manager Cusco office • Peter – Machu Picchu Guide • Abel and Mariana – Cusco staff • Iván – Tour Guide Sacred Valley One change I would make to our itinerary now that I have done the trip is to take the train from Aguas Calientes all the way back to Cusco. Most tour companies have you take the train from Aguas Calientes to a town in Sacred Valley called Ollantaytambo. Then take a van, car or bus from Ollantaytambo to Cusco. The drive from Ollantaytambo to Cusco is listed on the internet as less than 2 hours. Due to road conditions and traffic, it is more of a 3 plus hour car ride with very poor road conditions and numerous mountain switch backs that make even the hardiest travelers question the route. I highly recommend Peru for Less as great tour company for your Peru Inca experience.
