Easy to navigate and get my account set up. I learned that this is the best place to host my domain names. Hoping to do more business soon.

We're so glad you found it easy to navigate and set up your account! It's wonderful to hear that you consider us the best place to host your domain names. We look forward to doing more business with you soon! Thanks!
After a lot of research - being new at the website game - I realized that the best place for me to lock up a domain name was PorkBun. Strange name... hopefully the actual process would be straight forward. BINGO! Quick name search, upfront pricing and very little upselling, as promised. Plus, there won't be a huge price increase when I renew next year. PorkBun has already made my new online life a lot less stressful.

I felt deceived when I bought my domain. I saw the link for getting the .com and the .net. I didn't want them both.
I clicked on the .com where I thought I was only getting the .com. I thought the price a little high, went through with the sale. The sale just showed $21 dollars. I paid it. After I paid for it, it said I had the .net and the .com.
I was very disappointed in the way it didn't show that I had two domains when I purchased it.

I'm sorry for the negative experience. If you are buying a .com, there is a clickable line in the cart, "+ Secure your Brand: Get the .NET for only $9.99". This is genuinely a good deal if you want it, as .net is usually $12.52 at Porkbun, but it's only available within 24 hours of purchase via a wholesale discount program from the .com and .net registry (Verisign). Once you click that "+" line, it says COM NET BUNDLE as a second line item priced at $9.99. You can "x" out that line to remove it. Listening to your experience, it sounds like you want the full .net domain spelled out as a second line item. I can see your point, while still noting the current UX does have a second line item and does require you to click to add it in the first place. We'll provide your feedback to the team as we pride ourselves on no pushy upsells and minimal additive products based solely around general utility and value. Thank you!
easy, good value, and it doesn't feel like they're trying to rip me off at every step.

Paypal charge failed twice
Paypal charge failed twice while holding the amount of money.
Had to pay with card and incur surcharges.

Hi there, sorry for the hassle at checkout. When a PayPal payment doesn't go through, PayPal will sometimes still place a pending authorization on the account. That isn't money we've collected, and it releases back to you automatically once the authorization expires, though the timing depends on the bank or card behind your PayPal account.
On the fees, we don't add a surcharge for paying by card. Anything extra there would have come from your own bank, most often a foreign transaction or currency conversion fee, since we bill in USD. If you email [email protected] with your order number, we can confirm exactly what did and didn't get charged on our end and take a look at the failed attempts.
