Student Review

Hello! I am a student and I took Princeton Review. This program helped me so much! Not only did the course break every detail of the SAT down, I am so thankful for the tutor I was assigned. Her name is Mira Mehra and she was so helpful in making sure the class got to where we needed to be with English and Math. She was not only very productive and great at teaching us, she built our confidence up as a class and gave us a safe space within the program. I highly recommend this program and Mira Mehra!

Got a 1500 on my last practice test…

Got a 1500 on my last practice test after learning from Mira Mehra for 3 months. 300 point improvement in such a short amount of time. She is patient & I love her way of explaining things. Totally recommend. Than you so much!

Did not meet the guarantee

The Princeton Review do keep their word on the money back guarantee. My daughter had a wonderful course with Princeton for the ACT prep and learned alot. Even though she did not meet the guaranteed 5 point increase, she did make gains and learned great strategies. I think she would have done better if she did it in the summer time with less stress from the rigorous classes she was taking in school. I would recommend taking the Princeton ACT Program to any family. My suggestion would be to take it during the time that is not the most stressful in school. Consider doing it during the second semester of school versus the first semester of school.

Guarantee of 200 or your money back is true

My daughter completed the entire SAT prep program and did gain a lot of help. She is not great on tests but an all A student that knows how to work and learn. On tests, she simply struggles. She improved 140 points from the program. However, guarantee of 200 points is true and was quickly provided by Princeton. To be honest, I expected challenges to the guarantee but there we none. All in all, while I wish my daughter's SAT journey was over, this did help and when it did not help to the point of the guarantee it has helped us financially to hire additional support for the test.

Lots of resources!

This was a great experience in terms of content review. I feel that there was a surplus of content that we could use that was constantly available to us. This includes the teachers who were fabulous in every capacity. Special thanks to Natalie (Bio), Hadessah (CARS), and my psych soc teacher who's name is escaping me. I felt that they were all exceptionally passionate about their information and great sources to ask questions in class or through email. Everyone responded very quickly and appropriately. I felt that the only thing I did not like about the course was the lack of transparency as to how much time yo would realistically need to dedicate to be able to complete all of the work. It would be optimal for someone who does not work or go to school and is doing this and only this full time. There is so much homework and class work that it becomes difficult to do everything. Although I feel that this is a great base and although I do think I will take the MCAT one more time after taking it this week, I feel that I will be able to grow more and score even better next time.

Course feedback - Did not cover tougher math concepts

The help for reading was sufficient, but I feel like we spent too much time on reading and less on math. Also we were taught the methods for some concepts that we could’ve done using the calculator. The course did not focus much on utilizing the desmos calculator and did not cover enough of the tougher math concepts, only went over the basics and some strategies.

Instructor was great.

Instructor was great. Course was well designed. Even though my son did not reach his goal there was no problem getting the money back guarantee.

great score improvements

My tutor, Rick Saia, was great! He was very flexible in understanding my circumstances and was very helpful in raising my Math score by 170 points. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for a one on one experience with flexibility.

They helped improve my son’s SAT score…

They helped improve my son’s SAT score by more than 100 points to get him a 1450 with very few instructional classes. They are honest and have great tips to improve test scores.

My son took Princeton Review's SAT…

My son took Princeton Review’s SAT course and scored just shy of the guaranteed 1400. While he didn’t hit the target, the company honored their promise and reimbursed the majority of the cost without hassle. The course itself was excellent—comprehensive materials, great instructors, and effective strategies that significantly boosted his score. Even beyond the guarantee, the program delivered great value and helped him build confidence. I highly recommend Princeton Review for anyone looking for reliable and honest SAT prep!

Amazing course and faculty

Ms. Wint did a great job of presenting the material in a easy to learn fashion. If I had a question she would respectfully answer my question and teach me a little something extra. Great teacher and great course.

Very unsatisfactory all around

Very unsatisfactory all around. My HS daughter did the SAT Prep and the teacher rescheduled class at least 3 times and rescheduled it for the same session in which they already had to sit for a practice test. When I called to complain after the third rescheduling, I was told they would check into what was going on and get back to me, which they never did. Then my son was doing the ISEE test prep and I have now called three times to get clarity on practice tests 3 and 4 which were assigned but never received and STILL I have found no one who knows the answer.

SAT 1400 didn't help but the payment was returned

This course doesn't help with new strategies when standard strategies do not work for some students. My daughter took SAT1400 in July 2024. Her result after taking the course was lower than before taking the course, though during their training tests she got more than 1400. They refused to return the money saying that her last homework was not sent on time. We made sure that she did everything on time and attended all the classes. (She is not lazy, nor stupid - she is in 1% best students of her class (753 students) and her GPA is more than 101% with all AP classes.) Their website showed that she had completed 100% of the tasks. We couldn't see anything else on our side and now they say that they received her last homework at the same time we were requesting a refund. After two months of negotiations, the payment was finally returned.

My daughter was in the Review

My daughter was in the Review. She took 4 practice tests with them and was advised that the system never registered her answers for the math section of her 4th test. I asked what effect that would have on the guarantee that Princeton Review offers since she didn't achieve the 150 point increase in her results. They advised me that she should have taken the exam on a certain date that I was not aware of and that the 4th exam was not relevant as far as the guarantee was concerned. I asked them to provide me with an email or some communication to show that we were supposed to take the SAT on a certain date. They were unable to do that. I think the whole situation is a scam.

LSAT 165+ course Review

My name is Noelle and I took the Princeton Review’s LSAT 165+ course. My course number was 540819. Dr. H was my professor and I could not have asked for a better instructor. He was so encouraging and knowledgeable. Every class I came out having learned something new that stuck with me through taking the LSAT. I feel extremely fortunate to have taken this class.

Great Teacher

My teacher Lili C was a great teacher for this program. I learned everything I needed in order to boost my SAT score and I am happy with my overall increase in understanding.

Honestly it is a scam

Honestly it is a scam. I enrolled in their 1400+ course, thinking that my SAT will increase by the guaranteed 150+ points. I was wrong. Even though I completed the tests, homework's, and paid attention in class, I was honestly stupid how their "methods" can somehow increase your score by 150 points. Hell, I even talked with the people also attending and even they said that their score hadn't really improved. Princeton review don't teach you any revolutionary method, some secret forbidden method that will help you attain a 1400 or higher. Honestly, they kept regurgitating Process of Elimination over and over again, it was a nightmare. Use KHAN ACADEMY for your SAT, don't bother wasting money. If a course needs money, it isn't worth it.
