As advertised. I've used the service 5 times and there has been some inconsistency between reviewers. Including, twice the reviewer was incorrect on APA 7 guidance. There have also been some hiccups between US English and UK English. But, I knew going in I was getting a UK based review. You definitely have to double check the review and track changes. On reviewer repeatedly changes the meaning of my sentences because they did not know enough on the topic,

The linguistic editing and English grammar were excellent. The service was very good and did not take long, but was faster than the time it took to deliver it to me. In addition, the file was revised and complete and ready directly for publication. You are wonderful.

I’m not a native speaker, so I trusted this service completely. I told them clearly that the work they reviewed would be massively printed. Not only did they correct one of my crucial sentences in the wrong way (by deleting a mandatory article), but they also missed two critical grammatical errors. I paid for both proofreading and editing. There were no comments about these 3 situations. I didn’t review it back then, but now that I’m reusing some of the text, I noticed the mistakes. It makes me furious, sad, and frustrated. It feels so unprofessional and worst made me look unprofessional as well.
Whenever I needed urgent help, and I’ve always been impressed. Their 24-hour turnaround time is unmatched, and the service is consistently reliable and professional. Highly recommended!

I have used Proofed for several types of work and they have always been super fast and very thorough. Minor note: Larger documents take longer, hence, make sure you give them sufficient time rather than providing a large document in several chapters. Each chapter could be distributed to different proofreaders, which can result in some inconsistencies.

I was impressed by the high level of accuracy in proofreading the scientific paper, even though it was specialized in mathematics and contained many equations and symbols
