The process was simple and straightforward - from pricing to timelines to complete the proofreading. The proofreader(s) left comments for clarity, made constructive suggestions/thoughts all retaining my 'voice'. This was my first manuscript, and it was very encouraging to have the process go so smoothly.

Hi Dr. Mahmoud, Thank you for your recent order with ProofreadingPal. ProofreadingPal offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and we are grateful for every opportunity to help customers like you. We reached out to you over email about your concerns with inconsistent use of articles, verb tenses, prepositions, and occasional awkward phrasing. We asked for some specific examples to help guide our investigation into what went wrong, but we still have not received a response. Please answer the email we sent on March 3, 2026, so that we can further investigate the issue. We look forward to hearing back from you! Thanks, Alicia and the ProofreadingPal team
Thank you for your recent order #17851. We are sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with our service. We take these matters very seriously at ProofreadingPal, and we tried to reach out to you over email. We still have not received a response with specific examples of spelling or grammar errors either left or introduced into your document by the proofreader. Approximately 441 of the changes made do not pertain to the phrases “we will…” or “in the proposed…”. We have personally gone through your proofread document and found that most of the changes were made for anthropomorphism, active voice, and Vancouver citation and formatting. The proofreader has also made many edits in accordance with UK English, and they have consulted the Cambridge dictionary while doing so, as noted in their comment for “towards” on page 2 of your document. We want to assure you of the high-quality editing the proofreader has applied to your document. The editor made 219 insertions, 226 deletions, 1 formatting change, and 43 comments. This comes to a total of 489 revisions. This, in turn, comes out to 1 edit every 10 words. It appears as though your document has been substantially edited for grammar and overall flow/content. Your document has been dramatically improved from its original state, and the proofreader has done a thorough job fixing hundreds of errors. We look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks, Alicia and the ProofreadingPal team

It was difficult for me to decide whether this was a four or five star review of my new novel, Voices of the Dolphins. I decided it was definitely more 4.75 than 4.25, and hence it deserves 5 stars. The slight hesitation on my part was that the reviewer did not comment on a mathematical exposition that my detective goes through to explain something. I thought that it might be too technical for a novel and almost didn't include it, but such an explanation was consistent with this detective, and thus I retained the explanation. The reviewer didn't comment at all but picked up other small things in other passages so clearly wasn't troubled by this particular analysis. Thus, the review provided deserves the highest mark.
