QB2 bases + clear LEXEL + Iron Ridge racking is all I use now for rooftop PV arrays!
I started using quick bolt micro flashings a few years ago after seeing a great review of them on a YouTube channel, and I've got to say they just work great, they seal very well into shingle and certain residential metal roofs, they pair up very well with iron Ridge racking, And if you put one ring of Lexel clear silicone under them you can zip them down hot or cold, rain or shine, and you've got a solid base that should never give you any trouble, and I like that it adds a more solid base to any "L" foot mounting system which helps prevent it from wiggling around and working loose over time.

I ordered online. They didn't give me my lag screws for my order, which we picked up the next morning at will call. Almost ruined my install day, had to go to Home Depot to pick up lag screws.

I was working to find a mounting…
I was working to find a mounting solution for our project. I was put in touch with Matthew and the customer service was amazing! He set up my login for me and placed all of the materials that I needed in my shopping cart for me. I then later received a call from Stu letting me know that he was able to save me $ on shipping. The QuickBolts worked great
The QuickBolts worked great. I mounted four solar panel rails with them and they are very secure. I like them better than having to pry up the roofing to slide flashing underneath like you need to do with other roof mounts.

Zero customer service
When you had to cancel my order instead of just charging me foe shipping, because you don't have local pickup in Burbank, I had to redo y order online and messed it up because your website is so confusing, I made not one, but two separate orders for the correct items, and paid $60 more than my first order for the same items t0 include shipping to me 4 hours away here in Los Angeles. Not happy.

To clarify, our California warehouse is based in Livermore, and while we’d love to offer local pickup options elsewhere, we currently only operate from that location. When you emailed us saying that your Will Call order for Livermore needed to be picked up in Burbank, we called you to tell you that we could not modify the order after its been placed, but instead, we could cancel your initial will-call order and then you could place a new order that included shipping costs to your location. We pass these charges directly from FedEx. You agreed, placed a new order, and we shipped the material that day. We understand how this process may have seemed complex, and your experience has led us to review areas on our website where we can be more clear about where our warehouse is located. If we can assist you further, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Perfect for Do-It-Yourself install
I'm a home owner and needed to find a bolting system to support my rail system. I found Quckbolt's Silicone backed Deck Mounts. I loved the fact that I wouldn't have to find the roof rafters since they were not all on center measurement. They were super easy to install and hold rock solid. Very helpful sales team also. Love the product!
Sales recommended the wrong part
Sales recommended the wrong part. Roofing crew and solar crew were delayed a couple of days costing both companies money. Roof had to be tarped to prevent water damage. Had to pay for expedited shipping for the replacement part. I felt that the least the Quickbolt could have done is given us the new parts at cost or covered the expedited shipping. #QB1661 Original #QB1680 Replacement Order
