Rancho Gordo: Consistent Excellence

I’ve been a customer of Rancho Gordo since 2015 and a member of their Bean Club since 2018. Their heirloom beans, books, and other products are consistently excellent, as is their customer service. Their website, emails, and Bean Club newsletter are filled with yummy recipes and helpful tips.

Love the Rancho Gordo beans. High quality. I order them online & they ship to my house without issue. I am happy to do business with a company like RG.

Great beans, great company!

I've been buying from Rancho Gordo for a decade, and their beans changed how we eat. Other beans are not as tasty or fresh -- and they cooks wonderfully with no soaking because they are so fresh. We place orders for our family about once very couple of months.

Amazing variety of unique beans

Amazing variety of beans that you can't find anywhere else. We actually live in the UK, and the only negative thing I can say is that I can't buy them here, so end up with overweight suitcases because I always bring back beans on trips to the US. A really great business, has created a community out of bean lovers, and a great recipe archive on their website

Rancho Gordo beans are top tier. The recipes on their site or newsletter or cookbooks are great and make it fun to eat beans! I bought a giant box of “20 Big Ones” and have enjoyed trying beautiful beans I had never seen before.

Bean Club member

Have been a member of the Bean Club for three years now. It's not cheap, but the quality of the product is quite amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough! Put your name on the waiting list, and it will feel like a gift when your opportunity comes.

Outstanding products

Outstanding products - beans and more! The heirloom beans are fresh and cook up quickly. Not your typical grocery store bean! Their chilis, herbs and spices are a must try.

I'm a Rancho Gordo convert

I have been ordering beans from Rancho Gordo for a couple of years. They've turned me into a bean freak. I love experimenting and being totally suprised at how good a bean can be (thank you, Good Mother Stallard). The beans are top quality. Not as cheap as beans in the store, but so good, and they're one grocery item I prioritize.

Great selection of beans

Great selection of beans and other comestibles, with a conscience, as they support Mexican farmers. Get on their facebook page, you'll find lost of recipes.

Lots of new beans to try

Lots of new beans to try. Website has lots of recipes and ideas. Beans are high quality, more expensive than grocery store beans but not the most expensive heirloom beans.

BEST source for dried beans and pulses!!

Best source for dried beans and pulses!! Their dry beans are "fresh", requiring much shorter soaking and cooking times. They carry a few dozen different varieties of heirloom beans, including those important to Mexican culture. RG works respectfully with indigenous groups to help them preserve and grow their beans, providing them fair income and control over the commodities of their heritage.
