Consistent communication. The move from pick up to delivery was one day. The price was reasonable and there were no surprises. My transaction was handled with professionalism. I would recommend and I would definitely use their services again.

It was a challenge to get someone from roadrunner to talk and make schedule, but diesel auto Express did an amazing job. Not a giant fan of Roadrunner, but a huge fan of diesel.

Communication with not only your company, but with the driver who actually drove the car! I would suggest you try to use them as as much as you can because that was our best experience with the actual driver yet!

This company was awful to deal with
This company was awful to deal with. Was given two different pickup dates. Neither date was met. Called in several times and never received a callback. Was told to call carrier by a service person. Called them and was told Roadrunner lied about dates. Stay as far away from this company as possible.

The pickup updates we provided were based on the information we received from the carrier, and unfortunately, carriers can encounter unexpected delays that affect their schedules.
We understand how frustrating these changes can be. Each time you contacted us regarding the delay, our team reached out to the carrier to obtain the latest available update and passed that information along to you.

I would strongly caution anyone considering Road Runner auto transport. My experience was extremely frustrating and felt like constant price-gouging from start to finish.
I received my quote in April for a July shipment and paid an additional $125 specifically for top-load transport. A week before pickup, I received a confirmation call and was told the price would now be $150 higher than my original quote. When I questioned it, the response was basically that I could either accept the increase or cancel. At that point, with the shipment only a week away, that did not feel like a real option.
On pickup day, despite paying extra for top-load service, my vehicle was placed on the lower level of the carrier. I was also previously told I could have up to 100 lbs of items in the vehicle as long as nothing was in the front seat or obstructing the driver’s view. I followed those instructions. I had two 40 lb suitcases and three small beach chairs in the trunk area of my hatchback, covered to protect them from the sun because I was told and paid for the vehicle to be top loaded. Nothing was in the front seat, and nothing obstructed the view.
The next day, after the car had already been picked up, I received a call claiming there was too much in the vehicle and that they wanted to charge me another $100. At that point, I pushed back and explained exactly what was in the car, that it was under the stated 100 lb limit, and that it did not violate the instructions I had been given. I did not agree to the extra charge and was not contacted about it again.
The car did arrive on time, but it was still on the bottom level when delivered. I called to request a refund for the top-load fee since that service was not provided. I was then told the driver said the vehicle had ridden on top and was only moved to the bottom for delivery. Based on what I saw at pickup and delivery, I do not believe that explanation, but of course there is no way for me to prove otherwise.
My takeaway: the reviews warning that the final price may increase over the original quote are absolutely accurate, and in my experience, the extra premium for top-load service was not worth it. Be very cautious before booking with this company. Get additional quotes, have backup options, and be prepared for the possibility that the price may increase right before shipment when it is most inconvenient to cancel.

Regarding the rate adjustment, there are times when a surge in demand around a customer's desired shipment dates can lead to limited carrier availability. In those situations, to help accommodate the requested pickup timeframe, we may offer an optional rate increase. Customers are always free to decline the updated rate and cancel their shipment at no charge if they do not wish to proceed.
After you advised us of the items in your vehicle, we immediately contacted the carrier to clarify the situation. Based on the information you provided, the carrier did not pursue the additional charge.
As for the top load service, carriers may rearrange vehicles during transit and before delivery to safely and efficiently unload vehicles. Because of this, a vehicle that was transported on the top deck may be moved to the lower deck prior to delivery. We understand why this caused concern and apologize for any confusion.

the worst service ever they…
the dumbest and worst service ever they delayed my transport by a bunch and i let the carrier know that this was very important but didn’t seem to care. they claim to be reliable but it’s genuinely horrible. it’s the worst experience i’ve had with any auto transport service. the absolute worst.

Coast to coast transport. Second time using RoadRunner...very easy, good price, and no issues. This time Big Dreams Auto Hauler Corp. transported my new 2026 G86 from Cally to Florida...delivered a day early and not a scratch on it! Arrived early!! Carrier assignment was a little nerve racking, but beat the weekend by a few hours. Saturday pickup worked out, and arrived on Monday instead of Tuesday or Wednesday. Very, very grateful. Driver with carrier was very friendly!
