Payment for order flow definitely makes the deck feel like it's stacked against you sometimes
Doesn't have many OTC stocks. RH Market maker increases Bid ask Spreads on liquid stocks during high momentum or directional momentum. This can make it hard to close winning positions. I notice I don't get as good of prices on fills as my friends do on other trading platforms like TD or Schwab when purchasing options. I don't trust the payment for order flow. I notice positions instantly moving against me, or options change forcing me to overpay for entry.
Great so far. Obvious usual caveats about newer online-only fintech platforms
Apps work well. Easy to use and set up. Very competitive rewards/benefits/deals. Seem to know the kinds of features that younger people want out of banking/apps/digital services.
Haven't had a problem yet but I have some concerns about how easy it will be to resolve customer service issues were I to have a problem. Finally, I have some concerns about the longevity and safety of newer platforms like this, especially since they are less cautious about implementing newer features than traditional and more established banks.
This is a piece of crap company that can’t even keep my account secure after I’ve closed it. I continuously get messages from them about requests to change my address or change my phone number. You can’t contact them unless it’s in the app and I DON’T HAVE AN OPEN ACCOUNT WITH THEM ANYMORE SO WHY DO I KEEP GETTING THIS EMAIL BS???? I wish I had never opened an account with them at all. Beware.
Based on the email and app communications I receive, it feels like RH is more interested in gimmicks and gambit opportunities rather than improving user experience, increasing value to the user, or generally making RH more attractive than other alternatives. From a user experience perspective, adding a “Trade” button on the dashboard would greatly reduce my effort trying to Google how to trade on Robinhood every time. Also, since it takes days for trades and withdrawals to complete, adding a “transaction in process” notification would reduce anxiety stemming from having to remember if I actually initiated the action or not.
From a value perspective, it should be clear and obvious what fees are charges (best if fully transparent and conspicuous). Finally, while the various savings and investment features are nice, I think a more attractive incentive would be to implement features based on maximizing user/investor ability to grow and manage wealth. So make features less shiny and glittery and more useful and useable for wealth creation and simplified, more effective wealth management.
Robinhood application is easy to use and very intuitive. Even if you need to learn about investing and other trading stuff, the application shows mostly all the information you need for your daily operations and follows up. My only cons is that Robinhood Legend is slow sometimes on the web browsers, hopefully there will be a dedicated desktop app for it in the near future.
Robinhood is a great place to invest and bank along with good returns on savings. Really enjoyed the spending account which was recently made unavailable. I would really like a spending account available in Robinhood banking

Lack of live support
Id like to do more business with you but you make it very difficult. I was trying to move an account over to you from Fidelty. I needed help in doing si, but its practically impossible to talk to a representative for help. Im a senior and somewhat technically challenged.

I love Robinhood, but your YTD reporting is lacking
I love Robinhood, because you make investing easy and fun.
I would like to see reporting on my long-term gains vs. short term gains at any moment in time. You're reporting on YTD activity is awful, and way behind established players like Fidelity. This feels like table stakes to an investor, not advanced functionality.
Will you please fix this in the near term?
