This company has handled its early supporters terribly. It abandoned customers who purchased lifetime accounts with little more than a generic "sorry." The people who believed in the company from the beginning deserved far better. It's hard to recommend a business that treats its most loyal customers this way.

Bad service. After signing up I decided this was not for me. There is no option to delete your account. You ask "support" to do that for you. Still waiting for a reply, far less my account to be deleted.
Where has this app been all my life!? I love this app and I Really mean it because this is coming from someone who has always wanted to write songs but never knew where to start or how to finish one so I used all my scrap writings and combined them into 1 and it made me a song this app is so cool
I've been using Rytr for a year now and it has really came thru,generating emails and newsletters in seconds and the cool part is that you can change the tone of your writing,,I highly recommend 👌
My experience with Rytr is very satisfying. It helped me a lot to prepare for my semester exams and thesis 😊. I am really greatfull.
I wasn't overly impressed with the product so stopped using it. Many months later my annual subscription was processed and with a hefty increase in cost (my fault for not cancelling it). There was no auto-renewal notice (which I think companies are expected to provide). The next day I wrote to cancel and get a refund but was very bluntly told this wouldn't happen. It says a lot about a company when they value a little bit of money over customer satisfaction. Not thrilled about the product but very disappointed with the customer service.

I had high expectations for Rytr, but it was a complete disappointment. The tool did not perform as advertised, delivering low-quality, generic content that required heavy editing—far from what I expected from an AI writing assistant. Right after purchasing, I realized it wasn’t what I needed and immediately requested a refund. That’s when things got even worse. Their customer service was dismissive and unhelpful, simply citing a “no refunds” policy instead of actually addressing my request. Any company that refuses to stand by its product and won’t issue a refund the moment a customer asks for it is not one I would ever trust again. If they were confident in their service, they wouldn’t need to trap customers into keeping a subscription that doesn’t work for them. I do not recommend Rytr. Bad product, even worse customer treatment, and a refund policy designed to make sure they keep your money no matter what. If you’re thinking about signing up, don’t.
Tried it out today and I am liking it so far, if you have just a little bit of use needed then you can get it for free. If you need a bit more they have a middle tier plan, which is what I signed up for, works great for me. They have a higher tier which to be honest is still very affordable, and if you want to just not have to worry about not have functionality on the fly, then the high tier might be the way to go.

I’ve used Rytr for over a year with other AI writing tools but unfortunately their practices regarding subscriptions has scared me away. If you cancel your subscription, you may still be automatically charged for it, and they will refuse your refund. This along with the fact that their AI tools are not unique or better than competing AI writers that even offer more church as ChatGPT, shows me Rytr is focused on the wrong things. Personalized “Voices” is not unique and it is a standard part of other AI writers.
