Fast well packed delivery, good communication and very attractive price. One downer though, you give a option for a special message which I took up as it’s a birthday present for someone, unfortunately the message appears on the outside of the battered box label which had been overwritten in marker pen by the carrier and also on the picking/delivery note which looks like the printer was virtually out of black ink. But not really a document or box to give to your birthday girl in my case. Wouldn’t it better to have it printed on a small classy paper note, perhaps with your nice logo?
Quick delivery and fantastic gin 👌
There's not much else I can say!

A wonderful company to purchase from.
Perfect buying experience from this lovely company. I ordered very easily online in the afternoon and by the next day it had arrived! Excellent contact from the company to keep me informed about the order. The gift set I purchased is for a present and I'm really pleased with how well it is presented. The set looks much more expensive than it costs. Packaging was also excellent so it arrived in perfect pristine condition. Many thanks to Secret Garden Distillery for such an amazing buying experience.
Excellent customer service and very quick delivery. I chose the Wild gin and the wine-based vermouth bianco. Both are really delicious and I'm sure I'll be back.
Really speedy delivery of a delicious botanical gin. I ordered between Christmas and New Year, they were shut until 5 January, it was delivered on 6th January. They are based in Edinburgh and I live on the South Coast.

Review for The Secret Herb Garden
Review for The Secret Herb Garden, Damhead (Edinburgh)
I’ve been a regular visitor to The Secret Herb Garden for years and have spent hundreds of pounds there over time. I usually visit with a friend, and one of the main reasons we love coming is the greenhouse café. As a gardener, sitting among the live herbs and plants, with the little birds inside the greenhouse, is a huge part of what makes this place special for me. Even on colder days, I’ve always been happy sitting there with a coffee, a blanket, and the overhead heater on — it’s a lovely, calming experience.
Yesterday, however, we were told that the greenhouse café is now completely closed for the winter and that we had to sit in the distillery instead. Unfortunately, this is an enclosed building with no view of the plants, which really defeats the purpose of the visit for me. I chose not to stay and we ended up going somewhere else up the road.
What disappointed me most wasn’t just the decision itself, but the way it was handled. We weren’t offered any option at all — no flexibility, no discussion — just “that’s it, it’s shut for the winter.” Given that the greenhouse already has overhead heaters and that customers like us were happy to sit warmly with blankets, it felt unnecessary and quite abrupt.
I’ve always loved The Secret Herb Garden and it’s sad to feel pushed away from the very space that made it such a joy to visit. I really hope this decision is reconsidered, or at least communicated with more care for long-standing customers who value the greenhouse experience so deeply.
Swift response to my order, dispatched quickly and arrived exactly when promised.
I have used the company before and will definitely do so again
Very pleased.
Excellent across the board . Website ,ordering , speed of delivery and packaging .
Lovely bottles containing the very best taste of our beautiful country side .
Easy to order and it arrived within 2 days which was excellent. Had been a bit worried about ordering a glass bottle by post but needn't have as the package was so well wrapped. The gin is a lively flavour too!

Delicious Gin
Ordered on a Sunday hoping it would arrive in time as one bottle was a gift, it arrived safely and well packaged on the Tuesday. Excellent service. Ordered the rose and, lavender gin, couldn’t resist trying both and they are exquisite. Both have a divine, delicate flavour. A quality gin worth the price. The bottles are very pretty and would make a great gift for a gin fan.
