I love shenyun. Shen yun is future.
Wednesday evening, I took my family to see Shen Yun, and WOW — what an unforgettable performance! The dancers were fantastic and as a musician, I was absolutely blown away by the orchestra. They played nearly the entire show, and the precision was incredible — beautiful intonation, clean entrances, and an amazing blend across one of the most diverse instrumental groups I’ve seen. The dancers and performers were just as impressive. Their timing, athleticism, artistry, and coordination with the special effects were unbelievable. I’m actually glad no one told me too much ahead of time, because the surprise made it even more powerful! The tickets were not cheap, but honestly, it was worth every penny. A truly incredible evening with my family. By the way, this review is totally on their performance and NOT on any political/social viewpoint. As far as performance, The dancers are well beyond anything average as everything is live and any tiny slip is evident and the dance/gymnastics routines were perfection. As a retired military musician (raised in the NYC musical environment, top notch musical performers there) I have played with quite a number and wide range of performers here and abroad, these guys were at such a high level of perfection. Trust me folks intonation and perfection within a regular orchestra isn't always easy, these guys added authentic Chinese instruments and adding this diversity increases difficulties. You add the smoke special effects where they must have memorized the music never mind be able to see the conductor, they were incredible! I just couldn't find any spots that showed difficulty as they played and performed this with the same ease as breathing air. Separate the music, musicians and performers from any social/political viewpoint and it was dazzling!!!
Title: A Journey to a Fairyland and a Miraculous Transformation of the Soul 🌿🌿🌿 My name is Vu Duc Que, and I am from Vietnam. For a long time, I had heard about Shen Yun and watched many of their performances on TV and phone, but I always deeply longed to see them live. Finally, that dream came true when I attended a live performance in Tokyo, Japan, on April 4, 2026. The experience of seeing it live was absolutely magnificent; from the profound content to the stunning visuals and the beautiful orchestra. The vibrant colors and brilliant lighting brought a surge of emotions, and I noticed many fellow audience members were moved to tears. I felt as if a world of divine beings and fairies was unfolding right before my eyes. Upon leaving the theater, I felt as though I had been completely transformed. I felt 'taller' in spirit, with more love for others and a desire to live more virtuously. Everything around me suddenly seemed more beautiful. It was truly wonderful. Thank you, Shen Yun!
Amazing! Seeing Shen Yun is like going to Heaven. Very beautiful traditional culture of the real China. The orchestra, graceful dancers, hand made costumes, special technology with the backdrop transports you to another world. My family and friends loved seeing Shen Yun too in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We saw Shen Yun at 2pm on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. My husband also took me with family and friends to see Shen Yun in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on Saturday, April 19, 2025. We all felt very blessed.
Such an amazing show! I was genuinely touched by the performers, and I hope that I can continue to watch Shen Yun for every year to come.
I feel that Shen Yun's content is becoming more and more monotonous, too politically aggressive, and too little cultural content for my liking.
I attended this performance on April 19 in Baltimore expecting a traditional Chinese cultural dance show, as advertised. That was the reason I wanted to take my 9y old daughter. Instead, a significant portion of the performance included heavy religious and ideological messaging that was not disclosed beforehand and felt more like promoting specific beliefs while diminishing others. What was most concerning was the complete lack of transparency for families. There were disturbing and violent scenes, including one implying organ removal under coercion, with absolutely no warning or guidance for parents. This made it impossible to make an informed decision about bringing a child. This is not about disagreeing with beliefs—it’s about misleading advertising and the absence of basic content warnings for potentially inappropriate material. I regret every second and every penny spent. This was not the cultural, family-friendly experience that was promised.
Great show, I never see the such beautiful in my entire life.
I always thought this was art promotion ,but I never expected it to be religious propaganda.I dislike this,as it is overly politically motivated and greatly undermines its artisticc value.
Touching the Soul of a 5,000-Year Divine Heritage I first heard about the prestige of Shen Yun Performing Arts back in 2016, but it wasn't until 2018 that I had the chance to witness it live in Taiwan. Due to various circumstances at the time, I could only attend the show in Kaohsiung with a fourth-tier ticket. Sitting on the third floor, quite far from the stage, my experience then felt incomplete compared to my most recent attendance. On December 30, 2025—the opening night of Shen Yun's performance in Taipei—everything was different. This time, I secured a first-class ticket with a center-row seat, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the absolute brilliance of the show. From the digital backdrops, lighting, and costumes to the divine expressions of the dancers, their masterful technique, and the soul-stirring music... everything was flawless. My emotions flowed perfectly with every piece. While watching the dance performances, I felt as though I were transcending into a magnificent, celestial world, living through each dynasty of China’s 5,000-year God-inspired culture (prior to communist rule). Moreover, the performance deepened my awareness of the ongoing persecution of religious believers in China, particularly Falun Dafa practitioners, and the regime's attempts to destroy this sacred heritage. I have the utmost admiration for the artists of Shen Yun Performing Arts. I love you all so much!
beautiful as always in 2026. morality plays historical figures myths & legends China Tribes Dynastic Art skilled soloists Spiritual Traditions Innovative Technology full orchestra World-Class acrobatic dancers it’s got everything and you can see it for $100. pretty mind blowing. do you know how incredible that is??? this stuff is thousands of years in the making and it’s less expensive than your favorite pop star… it’s a well-known secret among those who have seen it and love it (thus the enthusiastic voluntary advertisement) but thanks to subversive Chinese Communist propaganda people think it’s some cult thing. the truth is the Chinese Communists are terrified of it. because it exposes their insane crimes and they’ve tried to kill these artists and they still won’t quit. if that’s not awesome I don’t know what is. the documentary Unbroken exposes the truth about it...like how on the one hand yes they have a mission, but on the other they are just world class artists. just go see it for yourself (: I go every year and cry every time.
Tiêu đề: Shen Yun – An Artistic Masterpiece that Truly Touches the Heart 🌿🌿🌿 I have read and watched many Chinese stories, but experiencing Shen Yun live in Taiwan was a completely different feeling. Witnessing the scene where a general braved the battlefield to rescue the infant prince, escaping through the chaos of war, I was deeply moved and wept for a long time (many others in the theater were moved to tears just like me). The performance was so magnificent and emotionally charged that it touched the very depths of our souls. I personally have seen Shen Yun three times and even brought my family along. The show reaches the pinnacle of performing arts while carrying profound literary and humanistic values; it truly deserves a 5-star rating. Everyone should take the time to see it—don't miss out on such a wonderful experience in your lifetime."
Last night at Philadelphia, I experienced more than a performance...Shen Yun Performance Arts is a powerful expression of culture, spirit, and the unbreakable dignity of humanity. From the welcoming venue to the precision of the dancers and the depth of the live orchestra, every detail reflected true excellence. Each story was brought to life with meaning, guided beautifully by the presenters, making every scene feel connected, purposeful, and live. As an Amrikiun Magharbi, I found a deep connection in its message: that every human being is divine in origin, endowed with dignity, and deserving of universal, inalienable rights. Through moments of beauty, struggle, and resilience, Shen Yun reminds us that truth, faith, and justice transcend culture...they unite us. In a divided world, this is more than a show...it is remainder of who we are at our best...The world need to see this. Nebu El
I had the chance to watch Shen Yun Performing Arts on April 3, 2026 at Lincoln Center, and it was truly one of the most outstanding performances I’ve ever experienced. Everything—from the live orchestra and choreography to the theater setting and costumes—came together so seamlessly to create a breathtaking show. Each performance left me in awe. You can genuinely feel the level of dedication and discipline behind it; it’s clear how much hard work the dancers and musicians have invested to reach such an extraordinary standard. Beyond the technical excellence, what impressed me most was the depth and meaning behind each piece. Every story carried emotion, culture, and a powerful message that stayed with me long after the show ended. If you ever have the opportunity, I highly recommend going. It’s not just a performance—it’s an experience.
I went to Shen Yun a few months ago and really enjoyed the experience. As someone who loves brightly colored clothing, the costumes were probably my favorite part of the show. Every time a piece started I was so excited to see what kinds of colors would come on stage next. The stories were easy to follow, despite there being no words. I liked learning about a foreign culture. The different types and reasons for bowing was interesting to me. Dance isn’t my thing, so I appreciated the stories pieces more. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique, beautiful experience.
The "Spiritual Expressions" not only have extremely poor artistic quality, but also carry the subversive elements of cults that are anti-science and anti-society. They promote so-called "religious doctrines" to the audience and slander "atheism and evolutionism".
Splendid attire cannot conceal evil thoughts.
Very good, shenyun beautiful
The performance of Shen Yun carries political overtones, representing a new type of cult brainwashing. It makes people feel uncomfortable and has a poor experience with political purposes
