Operating as an independent flight instructor on a dedicated platform is an excellent way to market your services and provide students with secure payment options. As ongoing system updates continue to improve connections between instructors and students, I believe these advancements will greatly enhance the professional experience for everyone.
As a CFI working with skyfarer has been very easy and helpful. I got set up with a student, coordinated schedules and it went great.
This site has been super beneficial for me in getting a start on being an independent CFI. The platform is easy to use and maintain, the outreach is good, and the support is great! Nick is always helpful if I have any questions and he will periodically check in to make sure things are still going well. I hope more pilots discover Skyfarer because this is a key asset in getting your name out there and building connections!
Nick from Skyfarer academy runs a great website. As a CFI, I appreciate the simplicity of the website and convenience. If you’re a CFI or a student looking for a CFI, you should look no further than Skyfarer Academy.
Skyfarer is well-executed and unique in what it provides for instructors and students to link with each other. The platform is well done and makes for easy direct communication between student and instructor. The most valuable part is that it can be used for any training needed- pre-training intro questions, checkride prep, private to commercial route, I even just did a night currency flight with someone through the site. Also their customer service is excellent, very genuine and prompt. I am looking forward to seeing Skyfarer grow.
Up and coming company with huge potential. The platform is great and the leadership team is going to great lengths for both instructors and students to make the platform the best it can be. The platform is intuitive and easy to use and really facilitates the scheduling process. I’m looking forward to watching Skyfarer continue to grow and reach its full potential.
This is a great platform for independent CFI's looking for remote work using their skills and knowledge. It's easy to schedule meetings and provide your students with help in the specific areas they're struggling in. I created a customized ground training for a student starting from ground zero, and I've met with other students who needed aircraft specific help or just some extra tutoring. This platform is great for both situations and very flexible and accommodating for instructors! The extra support from the founder and other instructors has also been a major bonus for me!
I recently did my Commercial ASEL mock checkride with Scott K.. He was so helpful in my preparation for my checkride, giving me great feedback. We went over everything I needed (endorsements, logbook requirements, etc.) first, and it reminded me of a few things I had to do beforehand. He gave me honest feedback that really helped me go into my checkride with confidence. Really liked the experience overall and would book again!
Such a great platform, I was able to book a session with an instructor without any issues. The process was smooth, the instructor knowledgeable and incredibly helpful! I am definitely going to book more sessions!
Justin was awesome! Super easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the drone industry. Gave some great action items. Would definitely recommend!
Super easy to book and very helpful! I like how it's a one on one tutor session where I can focus on areas I need more help in. Would definitely recommend!
Easy to use, great instructors, and a great way to augment flight school sessions with unique perspectives. I will surely recommend.
I would definitely recommend this service to another person. Scheduling was easy and my CFI was very knowledgeable. I would do this again.
I was looking for something very niche and Skyfarer Academy helped fill the need. I needed an XPlane 11 flight sim tutor. It's been really tough to find someone in any of my pilot groups online, and having all these instructors with different expertise consolidated in one platform is super helpful. I'm forgiving some UI/UX stuff because it's a new business working on CX. All-in-all, great experience, idea, and instructors.
"I recently had the pleasure of doing a mock oral on this platform (Skyfarer Academy) from one of their CFIIs and I couldn't be more impressed! The instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and tailored his teaching style to meet my individual needs. The lesson was comprehensive, and fun. I would highly recommend using Skyfarer Academy program to anyone looking for a CFI from Private all the way to Multi. 5 stars all around and great first impression.
This is a really nice way to find a CFI to ask questions to online. It's great for something general like oral checkride prep, or something more specific like seeking out a specialized CFI in one particular area.
