Great first experience with SoundCampaign. I recently released a few tracks on Spotify and wanted to give one of them a boost. The feedback from the different curators was always concise but genuinely useful, with relevant comments on production, mastering, and the overall track. Even with a small trial budget, I received 10 reviews and landed 3 playlist placements. Definitely a worthwhile experience.

Playlists are not a good match

In many ways, this is a good and legitimate way to promote your songs. However, it seems that SoundCampaign often sends songs to playlist curators whose playlists are not a good match for the song’s musical style. My latest song was sent to only two playlist curators, whereas previous campaigns were sent to four, and sometimes even as many as twelve. I don’t understand why the number varies so much. In addition, one of the two curators was a completely wrong match for the genre.

They are very transparent and honest about your sound and overall artistry. If you are a serious artist and aren’t just trying to pay your way to the top and is 100 percent ok with taking in constructive criticism and building off of it then pick these guys. Side note if you make good music it eventually sells itself

I recently submitted a track and was accepted onto 3 playlists out of 17 curators. The feedback process was great,it was really interesting to hear all the different perspectives from curators. Even when a track wasn't the right fit for a specific playlist or genre, the notes were constructive and insightful. It is definitely on the pricier side, but I don't see that as a bad thing, it filters for quality and connects you with active, established curators. My advice to other artists: make sure you submit your absolute best work, tag your genres accurately, and go in with an open mind. Very happy with the placements and visibility I got! It's clear, grounded, and gives great advice to other indie artists thinking about taking the leap. Releasing music and putting money behind it is always a gamble, but sharing your positive, realistic experience helps the whole independent community!

I was dissapointed with this service the anount of money you spend just for your songs to get send to playlists that don’t even fit your genre the feed back isn’t helpful iether I wouldn’t recommend using this service I suggest using Groover or submit hub way better for Spotify promo .

Great learning experience

Great experience for the chance to be put in front of some huge playlists (for great prices, too), where your tracks are reviewed and personally commented on by curators. Although we were unsuccessful, the experience was worth it and the feedback very positive and honest. All reviews came back to us within a single day, so the service, I guess depending, is quite fast. Best bring your A-game; it seems very competitive and choosing the right curators is very important for not only getting accepted, but making sure your track reaches the right listeners. Worth the experience for sure.

I was very skeptical at first. After going through the process a couple of times, I realized that the feedback was genuine and personalized. I know it’s no guarantee, but my music did make it on to a few playlists so I’m happy about the feedback and exposure Sound Campaign provided me. I would give it 5 stars but I deducted a star due to the cost. I feel like the minimum cost of the campaigns are higher than they should be and the ratio of feedback to cost is a little off balance. I’m happy with the feedback I got, I just feel like the minimum cost was not very inviting.

Finding the right playlist for your music can be difficult, especially for emerging artists. When we were having difficulties finding the right placement for one of our songs, SoundCamp was able connect us with playlist curators who were vibing with that record and genuinely excited to share it.
