Awesome Learning Environment

I love the positive energy that this school exudes. The teachers create a very positive and encouraging learning environment. I have received the school's daily email for years, which always contains interesting things to help me improve both my Spanish as well as my understanding of Hispanic culture. I am currently participating in my 3rd book group sponsored by the school, and it's been a wonderful opportunity to improve my Spanish.

Great Teaching

I love using the free version of Spanishland, which I receive by means of email. Each lesson I receive has different parts - a video, a written explanation, some homework (which will even be corrected), perhaps an idiom, some analysis. It's great. I would like to use a paid version, but it's expensive, and I am deaf, so not all of it would be useful for me even though closed captions are provided. I would particularly like to try one of the book clubs, but again, very expensive. So five stars for the free version of this.

Spanishland school really helped me get from a beginner level to an intermediate and then advanced level of spanish speaking and comprehension. Andrea and Nate are great!

What I love about Spanishland School and Españolistas is that Andrea and Nate make learning Spanish fun. The podcasts are fun, entertaining and educational, as they mix grammar and vocabulary with conversation and stories from everyday life.

Me encanta Spanishland School!

I have been with Spanishland School from the beginning, and I have absolutely loved watching it grow. The courses, communication, content and options are amazing. I love that it is a small community with a lot of diversity. The trips and the tutoring are phenomenal. If you want to learn Spanish, this is for you!

The most complete virtual Spanish school

Spanishland School is the most high quality and complete online Spanish learning system I have experienced in my over 25 years as a Spanish student. From freely available YouTube lessons to Zoom based individual tutoring and group classes, there are options for intermediate and advanced students at all levels of commitment. I am currently enrolled in a book club with Spanishland, which has improved my reading, verbal and written skills. All the instructors are excellent.

Its a great site for learning Spanish.

Andrea is extremely good

Andrea is extremely good, very helpful and she explains everything clearly. I watch the videos with subtitles and I can download the PDF files as a backup. I've learned such a lot and I love the weekly newsletters.

Comprehensive Spanish program

Spanishland School provides a very comprehensive program. There are lessons each month and exercises to practice those lessons. In addition, there are written assignments with corrections and opportunities for online speaking practice. Should there be any problems they are very responsive.

Great way to build up your conversational Spanish

I have been listening to Spanishland podcasts for year and just letting the conversation soak in. My vocabulary and understanding of grammar have steadily improved, to the point where my language exchange partner and I meet weekly to discuss life and politics.

Informative videos

My students find the videos very informative. As a teacher, I have used these videos in class for pop-up grammar lessons as well as to help me think of other ways to explain grammar concepts. Students have also told me they sought out videos and podcast episodes on their own to better understand concepts.

Great way to improve your skills.

Excellent podcasts. Easy to understand lessons make this a fun way to learn or u prove your Spanish. The one-on-one lesson as are affordable and easy to schedule. Spanishland School is a great way to round out those Spanish skills.

LOVE these programs

Españolistos and Spanishland School are incredible. I was at a wall with my Spanish learning and really needed something accessible to take my Spanish to the next level. My listening comprehension has gotten much better since I started listening to Andrea and Nate, and Andrea’s grammar lessons have really helped my understanding of the language. I can’t say enough about these programs. Highly recommended!

I find Spanishland School emails and videos the best available. Always accurate, professional and informative for all levels of language learners. Andrea is engaging and clearly invested in providing the best. This is not a one-off experience as I have used her output for years.

I have learned so much Spanish from your weekly newslettes, short and regular You Tube videos and pod casts. These effective and useful learning stools also reenforce my memories of spanish grammar , common colloquial expressions. I ‘m grateful to Spanishland school staff for all you do and wish you growth and continued success moving forward.

Brilliant resource for Spanish grammar and more

Spanishland School has been my go to podcast for years especially when I need to understand anything related to Spanish grammar. Anytime I have a related question I go to the Podcast which I follow, search for the topic within the hundreds of SpanishlandSchool episodes and listen to the related ones. Andrea's explanations are the best and easiest to understand I could find and I DID search intensively during my 4+ years of learning Spanish. Thank you Andrea and Nate, this resource is invaluable for everyone on their journey to learn Spanish!

One of the best for intermediate Spanish learners…

This company gives consistent quality content. What the team does exceptionally well is highlight common tricky grammar stumbling blocks for the intermediate Spanish learner and uses these common pitfalls for content, how to correct and overcome. I also love they give tools on improving Spanish beyond just their YouTube channel or podcast. They encourage developing skills in the language through reading (they have videos recommending what to read), listening (they have content suggesting what one may watch on Netflix), speaking (content on what questions you might ask to keep a conversation going), writing (content that gives ideas on what to write).. It's a family business they take seriously and have a lot of passion for! I haven't taken the immersion trip (yet) but I love the idea of staying with a host family. Consistency is key in learning a language and this team helps the learner stay engaged.
