I found Spanishland to be a very good tutorial and website for me and my experience was completely positive, all their tutors and tutorials were excellent, I would highly recommend Spanishland to anyone interested in learning Spanish
Everything is explained well and is practical. You can go into as much detail as you like with additional lessons, or just keep watching new episodes.
I’m in the UK and find Andrea who is Colombian clear and easy to understand, more so than native speakers from Spain. Her videos are excellent, entertaining as well as informative. I particularly enjoy the ones where she is teaching husband Nate. The regular emails are also great.
I feel my Spanish skills have improved since using Españolistos—especially my listening skills. I love the short videos where Andrea and Nate dialogue. Nate makes mistakes in pronunciation and grammar that I make, and Andrea’s kind, nurturing corrections make me more at ease and confident. The weekly emails with tips on grammar, common Spanish phrases, facts about Spanish-speaking countries, and a short video with Nate, Andrea, or Andrea’s brother are not only enlightening but entertaining as well. I look forward to them every Monday in my inbox. I often listen to Espanolistos podcast when I do my morning walk in a park near my home. I feel like Nate and Andrea are family. I highly recommend all their services.
Andrea is one of the most compelling and enthusiastic instructors I have ever had, She makes the complex simple and enjoyable.
I have been following and learning from Spanishland School and Españolistos for several years. I love the combination of videos on grammar and vocabulary as well as natural conversations. I also receive the weekly newsletter which is incredibly helpful. Andrea is an excellent teacher and everyone at Spanishland is courteous, welcoming and professional. I only wish they were close by so I could learn and be with them in person. They are lovely people, great at what they do and feel like family.
Out of the many, many YouTube sites that teach Spanish, this is by far the best. Andrea's explanations are so clear with clear captions and helpful follow-up questions. She makes even the complicated rules of grammar understandable and Nate's contributions are so identifiable with!
I have been a Spanishland member, travelled to Medellin with Spanishland, and am currently working with a Spanishland tutor. Each experience has been fabulous! Andrea and her team really know how to teach effectively.
First of all I have participated in many of the Spanishland activities. I began with their online intensive language program ( intermediate and advanced), and continued with their in perso immersion programs. What makes their program special? Attention to detail and multiple activities to assit you in your learning journey. And if I had a problem with anything. Always received an answer and solution within a reasonable time period. As far as their immersion programs go, they are the best - bar none. The variety in activities, the host families, qnd the guides. The classes are small and personalized and the host families make you feel welcome and part of the family. I have been on 2 so, far and plan to return. In summary, the Spanishland program is well worth your time. You will not be dissapointed.
Spanishland school and their Espanolistos podcasts have really helped me with learning Spanish. Listening to each weekly episode really helps tune my ear to Spanish and it has been invaluable in helping my pronunciation of spanish words and phrases. The grammar lessons on youtube are also exceptional in explaining the concepts. I Highly recommend them
I listen to Espanolistos in the car or when I'm cutting the grass, lol. I have found it to be a great way to practice my Spanish listening as well as learn things (new verbs, vocab) alongside of Nate. They use cultural themes, grammar, idioms, family, interviews...soooo many different and interesting podcasts. So glad I came across it!
For me as a pensioner their videos fulfil two main goals: a) helping me not to forget what I have learnt and b) learning new things I can actually use in everyday Spanish. The learn-chunks are just the right size, so the percentage that sticks in my mind is cumulatively higher, and as the Germans say the "Lernerfolg" is posive, I.e. I don't get disillusioned.
I have been getting emails every week with a mini lesson. Generally I glean a little something out of each of them.
I receive useful, enjoyable emails with great explanations, along with some easy practice time listening to a native Spanish speaker. I love all they have to offer!
I love the podcasts! It’s a good combination of grammar tips, personal stories and travel. I’m an intermediate speaker and can easily understand Andrea even when she speaks quickly. The grammar tips videos are short but target areas of Spanish that are sticky places for non-native speakers. I have also done the book club twice, which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend starting with the podcasts and go from there
Everything about SpanishLand school is excellent! The podcast, the membership, the classes and the inmersión program. I enjoy the podcast for both the learning episodes and interviews. Eventually I became a member and now I have attended their immersion program in Bucaramanga, Colombia. Every experience has improved my Spanish and is now a reliable part of my daily learning routine. Thanks SpanishLand!

This includes the podcasts, tutors, instructors, classes, and of course, the online course material. The resources appeal to all learning modes and lifestyles. Andrea and Nate are heavily invested in the quality of their work and satisfaction of their students. Not only am I learning quality Spanish, I feel like I am a part of a much larger community of people who are eager to learn together.
