I had the pleasure of working with Kevin this past cycle, and as someone who felt like I didn’t have a particularly compelling story, I am confident that I put forth my best application. There is so much admissions information circulating online, but knowing I could check in with Kevin on a weekly basis and hear his inside scoop, backed by actual admissions office experience, always helped calm my nerves and keep a level head—especially when it seemed to make sense to rush things. Regarding my written materials, we spent a lot of time together composing the right narrative, which is where I think Kevin’s expertise shines and made a real difference in my outcomes.
My results have been very positive, with a handful of T14 acceptances (including one of my dream schools) and strong scholarship outcomes across the board. Kevin’s support was instrumental, and I cannot recommend him enough!

I worked with Paula Gluzman and I have to say her guidance was essential in my application being successful and getting me accepted into Penn Carey Law School. Of course, my opinion reflects only my experience but I can say with certainty if I had not made the investment to work with Paula I would not have been able to start my law school in September of 2026. Specifically, there is a lot of minute details and nuances that must be taken into account when applying for law school, especially when submitting a large number of applications. The details become even more overwhelming when you realize that each school has its own unique application process. However, working with Paula was extremely helpful because she streamlined the complicated application process and made it manageable given the relatively short amount of time that I had. In addition, I should say that the feedback that Paula provided me after reviewing my essays and application material was also extremely helpful and constructive. Her feedback was honest, detailed, and straightforward and she was very quick and responsive when replying to my emails. She was also very clear about her availabilities which made planning easier. Overall, given my personal circumstances and the tight timeline that I was on, Paula's guidance and feedback was absolutely a game-changer for me and enabled me to put together a polished, top-notch application that eventually got me into Penn Carey Law School.

From start to finish, Hannah ensured that my application cycle would yield the best results possible given my complicated circumstances (lower GPA, later application submission, highly competitive cycle). All that considered, I knew I'd have an uphill battle in front of me applying to highly competitive law programs; Hannah helped to set realistic expectations, maximize the potential of my written materials, and keep me on track. She was always available when I needed her, and gave wonderful advice regarding which schools to apply to and where to focus my energy. Additionally, she was greatly helpful navigating the addendum process and making sure that these materials helped, rather than hurt, my application. Overall, I had a wonderful experience working with Hannah and was ultimately admitted to my top choice law school thanks to her expertise. Amazing Cycle with Anne Dutia
I just finished an amazing admissions cycle with Anne Dutia. Because I have some non-traditional aspects of my educational, professional, and personal history, she did a great job ensuring that every piece of my story tied together in a cohesive manner. Further, she was instrumental in helping me trim unnecessary parts of my essays while elaborating on valuable parts that I had omitted.
Her communication style is also praiseworthy. I was clear on the outset that I preferred direct feedback to sugarcoating. Anne really delivered on this. She was very honest (but polite) about bad ideas that I initially thought were good, and her suggestions came back timely and in great detail.
In hindsight, this service was even more helpful than I originally expected. Given the value of admission results and scholarships, the five application package I bought would've still been worth it at twice the price.

My advisor Paula was so caring and patient from day one. She gave me a roadmap, surrounded me with resources, and made herself available all the time. No questions were too small or too large for her and she was genuinely invested in my success. My applications would not have been the same without her! I have some friends who used other Spivey consultants and have not had exactly the same experience so there is perhaps some variance among consultants.

I was beyond fortunate to work with Sam Parker at Spivey Consulting Group. Spivey's resources were comprehensive, and Sam's guidance was exceptional and walked me through every step of the law school application process.
I received fantastic results, and although I don't know how things would have shaken out had I applied without Sam's consulting, I am confident that every application, regardless of its end result, was submitted in its best form with my absolute best foot forward. And I believe my outcomes reflect that.
Sam was--and as I imagine all of Spivey's consultants are-- constantly available, punctual, responsive, and always on top of things. And whether I reached out with an urgent question surrounding part of an application form, a final review of my third draft of an essay, or a vent email on my frustration with cycle delays, I always received a prompt response. Indeed, Sam helped advise me on questions I had about schools not even included in our contract. She went above and beyond to help me in every part of the process.
Moreover, I was able to meet with her over zoom at any time, as much as I wanted. And trust me when I say that I made use of that! I also received periodic newsletter emails that kept me abreast of the stage of the cycle, any important shifts, and what to expect at that time.
Beyond her availabiltiy and punctuality, she was empathetic, passionate, kind, relatable, and always honest. Got into my top school thanks to Spivey!
I had a phenomenal experience with Spivey Consulting! My consultant was Mike Burns. I greatly valued his prior experience directly in Law School Admissions, so felt like I could trust his advice and insights. It was also a huge relief to have an expert I could go to with any questions and to gut-check my thoughts and instincts. I ended up getting into my top choice school, which was a super reach/long shot, and I know that part of that success was due to Mike's guidance and insights and polishes to my application. It was definitely an expensive service, but given my results, it was definitely a worthwhile investment. Would highly recommend for anyone applying to law school who has a unique background and isn't sure how to put together a polished package!

I am so grateful to Spivey, and Nikki in particular, for their help with my application cycle. As a nontraditional applicant with several years of work experience, a high LSAT, and a low GPA, I knew I had an uphill battle during a historically difficult application cycle. From day one, Nikki provided practical advice and feedback, kept me on track as I juggled two dozen applications alongside a full time job, and ensured my materials were in the best possible shape. As a first-generation student entering the 2025 application cycle, I came into this process with so much self-doubt and anxiety. In particular, as a minority, I was concerned the contentiousness around DEI and affirmative action would render my stats inadequate and that my application materials would never be enough.
I applied to a wide variety of law schools, nearly blanketing the T14. While I can't say my own tenacity did not play a part in my success so far, Spivey Consulting, particularly Spivey Consultant Michael Burns, provided me with more insight than I could have ever found on my own on how to succeed in such a competitive cycle. I truly feel the resources Spivey offered were instrumental to knowing how I could be the most strategic in leveraging who I really am outside of my statistics to law schools. With it only being the middle of the cycle, I have already been accepted to NYU, Northwestern, UCLA, and Vanderbilt. Moreover, I have also completed interviews with UChicago, Yale, and Harvard.
The opportunity to work with Spivey, specifically within the Spivey Pro Bono Program, embodies the difference between breaking generational curses for someone like me. Spivey has not only provided me with confidence in myself and the story I carry, but a little bit more faith in society to make the legal field more equitable.
