Excellent service fast delivery and she very happy with the brightness
Easy ordering process and received the order very quickly. I cant wait to gift this to my friend!
I would give this zero stars if I could. I purchased this as a gift for a friend’s daughter, fully aware that the idea of “naming a star” is symbolic. That’s fine - the sentiment is what matters. But the way this company presents, sells, and supports that idea is deeply misleading. 1. Not clear this is purely symbolic It is not made sufficiently clear on the website that this has no official or scientific standing whatsoever. I had to do my own research to confirm that the registry they refer to has no real-world significance. That is something that should be stated plainly and prominently, not buried or left for customers to discover afterwards. 2. Checkout process is deliberately misleading The upselling is excessive and, frankly, unacceptable. Items are automatically added to your basket without clear consent. In my case, nearly £40 of extras were included that I never chose. It then took several minutes to figure out how to remove them and you can’t even do it easily from the cart. Reputable companies use opt-in, not this kind of opt-out tactic designed to catch people out. 3. Pricing is disconnected from reality Let’s be honest about what’s being sold: printed materials posted to you. That’s it. The £8 postage and packaging likely covers most of the actual cost. The constant “discounts” are clearly part of the strategy- inflate perceived value, then make customers feel like they’re getting a deal. In reality, this is closer to buying a personalised card from Moonpig than anything of real substance. 4. No real customer support – just AI responses Perhaps most frustrating of all: when I raised these concerns, I didn’t even receive a proper human response. Instead, I got what was clearly an AI-generated reply - which even admitted that it “may not be accurate.” If you’re running a business built on emotion and sentiment, the least you can do is offer real human customer service.
I am giving this as a special gift. At first I could not locate the necklace I had ordered. I notified the company and they quickly got back to me with the news that the necklace was included in the paperwork with my order. I found it in a small plastic envelope when it fell out of the paperwork I received. Might be helpful if they would tape such a small package to the paperwork.
This is a con. I began thinking it would cost £34. By the time I had added brighter star, necklace, frame (just a printed border £15!!!!) it was £109. Went to pay, it had gone up to £139 with add ons I was not made aware of like insurance. I googled 'is it a con' If they give the impression it will be an officially recognised star it is. They would argue they don't but they put every effort into making you think it is. The only place your star is recognised is on their business data base. They should make this very clear to potential customers. I was 'bought' a star - impossible to find!!
The website was easy to navigate and delivery was prompt. I have four grandchildren and they all have their own star. It is a special gift and has always been well received. Highly recommended.
They’ve updated their website to include more of
My order arrived right on time, was easy to navigate the website, everything was accurate and my niece just loved the gift!
So far so good. I can follow Maria's Star as the Earth rotates? I paid for "brightest." I think it is. Is this correct?
I was impressed with the website, the ease in ordering, many options available and the end result! I'm so excited to share this gift with my friend's children and grandchildren, a special way to create memories together as they remember their mom and Grandma.
Good service, great value and good communication. Highly recommended.
App shows my star constantly in the grass when other star finder apps show it in the correct place in the sky. Have emailed over 19 emails demanding to be fixed or refunded. I no longer get a response from their AI email or Human email.
A beautiful way to remember a much loved little Cavoodle ❤️ It’s so wonderful being able to see him in the sky anytime we want.
A problem to start quick email and it was sorted very quickly. My husband is absolutely thrilled.
I purchased 2 stars for people very hard to buy Xmas presents for. I went through the whole online ordering process - picking the options carefully as I went along. I checked my order very carefully before paying. However on the order confirmation it has no details about what I purchased except for a star and the name. When these arrived, they were not what I believed I had ordered and did not include the frames. On contacting the supplier they claim that I didn't order the frames (which I am positive that I did) and I cannot prove this as the order confirmation has no details on it. The certificates and additional documents look cheap and something that you could print up at home. I am very disappointed and think this is a scamming company. Will never use again.
Very disappointed with the item delivered. The 'certificate' provided looks fake and cheap - like something a child would put together and print out. I bought it for someone who recently lost their mother but feel embarased giving it to them it looks so tacky and fake. Package contained just three pages of tacky print out which look fake and nothing like the package advertised - the advertised free necklace was also not included. For GBP 33 it's an absolute joke and fraud if the 'registration' is not even real. The check out process was also not impressive - they tried to add on loads of charges, including a GBP 8 delivery fee (!!) for an envelope with three pages in it and you had to click to remove each additional charge - including a 'tip' (for what exactly!). Awful experience and so dissappointing when I imagine most people are purchasing for sentimental/emotional reasons and receiving something so cheap, tacky and fake looking is not cool. Please also note that this is company is not based in the UK and ships from overseas. Would not recommend
I placed an order and still after 1 month, I have yet to receive the physical packet from them. Had to pay to go get the documents printed up on my own. Emailed them 2 times and got the same AI generated bogus response. Thank goodness I did not order it with a frame. This was a gift to a little girl who had to say goodbye to her dog.
