Hapa has an amazing attitude and explains complex topics in a simple way. The course was very helpful for getting to know the software interface better.

Perfect Start for Millenial Beginner

I had zero experience when it came to using my Alpha Theta DDJ – FLX2. I struggle with online learning in any capacity, so I’m glad I had a free course to ease me in. DJ Hapa was experienced and also easy to follow. Not only did he show how to use the program, but he provided tips and breakdowns of how he does certain things. Allowing us to take this info and adopt it ourselves (with something like hot cues), set us up for success. You can tell he has workshopped this program and some of his ideas in order to make DJing efficient and easy to understand for all levels. I wish I was local so I could take a class in person, but this was a really great start to my DJ/music production journey. I’m in my early thirties, so things don’t come quite as easy! He would often give words of encouragement that felt sincere. Even though he wasn’t talking to me directly, some of the motivation he provided was enough to keep me on the path to learning more.

First Timer - Great Start

I have a really hard time learning virtually. Like many others, I am a hands-on learner. I am not sure how I located this particular course, but it ended up being a blessing in disguise. DJ Hapa is a fun coach and makes you feel like you’re in the room with him. For someone with no DJ experience, it’s starting off on a good note. I wish I had the funds to take a longer course!

The DJ Coach has been super helpful. I'm over the age of 50 and this is my first attempt at learning to DJ. He explains the information in an easy to understand format and he has reduced the anxiety I felt when first starting this experience.

such a good lesson in the fundamentals...I just kinda started doing and didn't know how to mix in a song properly with the correct counting....he teaches you how to map out your songs- I've already done two solid transitions!!!!! insane! I love this course and he is such a great teacher. thank you thank you thank you

Well Structured Lessons and well worth your time

The lessons were structured well and were not too long and covered many things to a small extent. The DJ course covered much of the basics, but it only really helped with mixing the songs already provided rather than other random songs. There is no doubt though that it has provided some confidence to my mixing and still has some helpful tips and is worth the time it took to complete all the lessons.

Good structured course

The course has as well structured concept. Everything was understandable and at a good learning speed. I can now really use the gear and make mixes with it. DJ Hapa is also very motivating!

Great experience

DJ Hapa's expertise is amazing. This course was extremely easy to follow. It is a great entry point and has helped me understand the equipment I use in such a short time. I didn't have to waste time on analyzing buttons and knob's features on my own. Great course!!

It's all starting to make sense, practical, videos easy to watch and practice, learning about the software, mapping songs etc and what types of songs to prepare for different occasions is crucial.
