Do not shop with this company, they take money out of card without permission and claim you click on that. I just wanted to order some bathers. I only received one of pair of bathers and they send me some other that want fit anyone and charge me for them. So I'm out $30 for the bathers as they want refund me saying they send them. They then took $119 out five days after I ordered and paid saying that i click to be in there club, no I didn't. They would only refund me half plus I had to cancel my card because of them. I ended up getting nothing from them and my bank refunded me the the $119. They stop answering my email when i said I wanted my money back.
Do not touch this company they are despicable situated in Kowloon while leading you to believe they are in New Zealand. They have shoddy products and when you return them they don’t refund your money and all the while they are taking money out of your account.
Do not buy from Thompson Boutique without reading this
Beware.
Company charges you for supposedly agreeing to a pop-up notification if you’re choosing free shipping, you’re signing up for a $179.99 ‘Thompson Plus’ membership.
Trouble is many IPhones, mine included, have an automatic pop-up blocker.
I bought 2 dresses advertised with free delivery almost 6 weeks ago. They have not arrived.
Charged $179.99 3 days later - unauthorised
Charged a further $179.99 11 days later - unauthorised
Charged a further $129 3 days later - unauthorised
Company says it will refund me the 2 later payments. That has not happened.
Company insists I signed up for ‘Thompson Plus’ - whatever it is. I did not. Impossible to sign up for something you don’t know about.
This company has quite an in depth clothing website, claiming to be a business in New Zealand. They are actually based in Kowloon and I know this because apart from the transaction I actually authorized, they stole two lots of $179.99 from my account. They did send the $19.99 product, but it is only a front to obtain bank details to defraud their customers. Beware!
