Complete scam! The first thing they want you to do is give your personal info to the scam site MyScoreIQ, which only pretends to offer credit reports. They must be so desperate for money that they can't even wait for the pretense of a loan.
I have been applying for grants and started getting ads. I mistakenly filled out a form for an ad for loans and Toro got my info. They sent me two texts and two emails (just like many other lenders) but Toro VP of operations Scott Cluff was the only one snarky enough to respond this when I explained my mistake and asked him to remove me from his list: "Contact you local and state government for free money" Didn't mean to hurt his feelings but wow what a think to say to potential clients!

Not satisfied. They promised me that they could get me up to at least $30K, but only got me supposedly $16,500K but they where using a credit card of BOA i already had and they where counting it. So in reality they only got me $12K. And at the end they made me believe i could get up to 40k or at least 30k but no, not even; and they counted a $4,500K credit card I HAD OF MY BANK ACCOUNT and made it seem like they got it, they where counting it like they got it but no it was mine. (Please do not say we do not leave misleading information but you guys count a credit card I already had, my credit is low now when i had a perfect score) Do not use this company, getting like tons of credit cards for you to reach a level of $ you want to reach shouldn’t even be a business, even tho thats how this business works by applying for different cards. DO NOT USE TORRO FUNDING! And also do not contact or call people even tho ppl apply trough a third party, yall do that because NOBODY CONTACTS YOU GUYS!!!

While we do our best to explore every available option, those metrics fall below the typical thresholds required for most funding programs, which can limit approval outcomes. We never intend to mislead applicants, and our goal is always to match each client with a product they can realistically qualify for. When a file falls outside of approval parameters, our team communicates that as clearly and quickly as possible so clients can focus on strengthening their profile and revisiting options in the future. We also take your comment about the interaction with our underwriter seriously. That’s not the standard we hold our team to, and we will be addressing that internally. This company is a lie. They portray themselves as business lenders, but they're not. They will help you use your own credit to acquire a bunch of useless credit cards in your name, thereby destroying your credit report on something you could do for yourself if you wish to go that route. And to even make it worse; they would charge you a good fraction of whatever they are getting for you. Dealing with them is ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS. I asked for a business line of credit(and I paid them for it), but they went and got me a dozen credit cards that is messing up my life right now. My credit score dropped from 795 down to 630. I even had some of my existing personal credit cards cancelled on me. Most of them, I've built up in the past two decades. I wish I could turn the hands of time; I wouldn't thread that path. BEWARE!

Regarding credit impact, any time multiple accounts are opened in a short period, there can be a temporary decrease in credit score due to inquiries, new accounts, and utilization. This is standard across all credit-based funding strategies and is also disclosed prior to moving forward. Many clients use this program specifically because it allows them to access capital without high-interest debt or daily payment obligations. As for fees, Torro operates on a success-based model tied to approvals and access to capital , not simply “getting credit cards,” but structuring approvals in a way most individuals are unable to achieve on their own. We understand that this program is not the right fit for everyone, and we never want a client to feel dissatisfied. However, it is inaccurate to suggest that the process was misleading when multiple documented steps are in place to ensure full transparency and informed consent.
