A Journey of a Lifetime in Tibet – With the Incredible Guide, Gelek
Two years ago, I had the unforgettable opportunity to explore Tibet, and I can honestly say it was one of the most enriching and life-changing experiences I've ever had. From the stunning landscapes to the rich culture, everything about Tibet felt like stepping into another world. But what made the trip truly exceptional was having Gelek as our tour guide.

Experiencing the spiritual energy of Tibet with Gelek and his team
I recently returned from the trip of a lifetime: an 8-day tour in Tibet that exceeded all of my expectations. The tour, which included a visit to Mt. Everest, was without a doubt the highlight of my travels so far. The breathtaking views of the mountain range will stay with me forever.
One of the most memorable experiences of the trip was visiting the Jokhang Temple. The spiritual energy there was palpable, and the architecture and intricate details of the temple were stunning. The pilgrim circuit around Jokhang, known as Bhakhor, was also a highlight of my trip. Walking alongside locals and pilgrims and hearing their prayer recitations was a humbling and unforgettable experience.
Gelek and his team at Touch Tibet were instrumental in making this trip so special. They took care of everything, from arranging the necessary permits to booking accommodations and transportation. Their attention to detail and local expertise made for a seamless and stress-free journey.
One of the highlights of the trip was staying in a traditional Tibetan hotels. The accommodations were simple but comfortable, and the owners were welcoming and hospitable. It was a unique opportunity to experience local Tibetan culture firsthand.
I also appreciated the flexibility of the itinerary. Gelek and his team were happy to make adjustments and accommodate our preferences, which allowed us to make the most of our time in Tibet.
Overall, I highly recommend Touch Tibet to anyone considering a trip to Tibet. Their professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail are unmatched, and they truly went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable.
