I tried these footpads because I was concerned about accumulated heavy metals and had always heard that footbaths could be troublesome unless administered by a very knowable person. The gentle action of the footpads answered that concern. What did not expect to happen was the best thing ever, I had been dealing with a wart problem for over 2 years on my fingers, knees, and elbow. Freezing combined with a Compound-W protocol brought no results. Within a couple of months of weekly usage 3x a week, all of the warts are now completely gone and show no signs of reemergence. I have reordered since the original one and plan another when the time comes.
