Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. People truly love the incredible flexibility and overall efficiency of managing multiple artificial intelligence models seamlessly within a convenient single unified interface. Consumers frequently mention that well-organized project folders, custom system prompts, and smooth navigation make their daily professional workflows much easier and remarkably productive. However, some customers also noted annoying issues regarding restrictive file upload limits, unexpected interface freezes, and troublesome cloud synchronization errors across their devices. A few reviewers experienced significant frustration when trying to set up specific models, manage strict storage constraints, or navigate unexpected error messages during daily usage.

It is just fantastic - Wish I could speak with you directly. I am 73 - businessman - also teaching yoga on chairs free to seniors and so far taught to over 3,000 teachers who will teach children - calm, focus, happy and strong.
I had 1 big freeze very frustrating when TypingMind tried to summarize my long context... Also I don't like the fact that changing the picture of an agent don't change the picture of a chat already started with this agent. I also would like a way to switch between sending all the context to sending only the X last message with less click. But that's not big problem, it mostly works fine.
Not sure how I’d go back to life before TypingMind to be honest…
The keyboard shortcut to quickly delete chats is missing. Missing killer feature for me - chat branches with visualization
it's good but a little API cost too much for me.
All mostly good. Things are still too fussy to set up sometimes and I hope we get more options for chat appearance such as fonts, etc. But the concept is great and when it works well it’s pretty amazing.
The interface is relatively refreshing, and the interaction of the functional area is reasonable, but the form of web APP often has a poor adaptation experience for iPad Pro. I hope to add more functions related to the construction of intelligent bodies.
I switched to TypingMind specifically to get out of the subscription trap. I wanted API-based, pay-as-you-use. But the models do need to search the web. Particularly when doing research. Now it turns out the websearch ability is limited to a) Google (depreciated), Perplexity (starts at 50 dollar) and Serp (subscription at 25 dollars a month after the first 1000 search -which is nothing). I could set up an MCP server. All the options are there. But it turns out that both Local and Typing Mind Cloud options DO NOT work UNLESS you have an enterprise account. Mere premium users are not allowed. It took me DAYS and money to find this out, it is not clear from the documentation. Plugins are not an option - they are being depreciated. So I feel misled.
Hi Inge, 1. All models have built-in web search feature for free (just enable Web Browser in the plugin list), you do not need to use Google Search / Perplexity / Serp if you don't want to. 2. MCP definitely works with both local and TypingMind Cloud. Thousands of users use it everyday. What is the issue you are facing? Feel free to contact customer support so we can help you. Thank you for giving TypingMind a try, please update your review, what you say here is not accurate and it hurt me to read. Thanks.
yes. but there are some slight issues when i run into issues where i get weird attachment error messages. I wish errors told you exactly what is causing what instead of using a google search which gives a too broad of an answer.
With Claude screwing over its customer base by dumbing down the models, I moved over to Typing Mind to actually have a place to work again and I wasn't disappointed.
It’s great, I do wish there was a way to book mark specific places in the conversations so they could be referenced easier later.
Intuitive design with many useful features. One place for all my AI. Love it!
I created agents and very interesting outcome. I am still learning how to use it and how to make the agents work with each other... unless they already do? I do not know. The systems works very well... I am learning however so far it has been very good.
TypingMind is THE best LLM frontend. The API model works so much better for me cost-wise compared to subscription fees on the platforms. Plus all of my chats are in one place.
Excellent AI companion that I use literally every day TypingMind has quickly become my go-to tool whenever I need to access any AI model. I use it on my laptop, phone, and even tablet — it’s always there when I need it. What I love most is how well it lets me create and manage different Profiles and Projects. I can set up separate contexts, custom instructions, knowledge bases, and rules for each use case (work, personal projects, creative writing, research, etc.). No more copying and pasting long system prompts or trying to remind the AI about previous context — everything stays neatly organized. It saves me so much time and keeps my conversations much cleaner and more focused. The interface is fast, clean, and reliable. I’ve never had any major issues, even when switching between multiple models in one session. It just works. If you use AI regularly and want more control and organization than the standard web interfaces offer, I highly recommend TypingMind. It’s honestly one of the best investments I’ve made for my productivity this year.
