Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. People truly love the incredible flexibility and overall efficiency of managing multiple artificial intelligence models seamlessly within a convenient single unified interface. Consumers frequently mention that well-organized project folders, custom system prompts, and smooth navigation make their daily professional workflows much easier and remarkably productive.
However, some customers also noted annoying issues regarding restrictive file upload limits, unexpected interface freezes, and troublesome cloud synchronization errors across their devices. A few reviewers experienced significant frustration when trying to set up specific models, manage strict storage constraints, or navigate unexpected error messages during daily usage.

I like typingmind for the possibility to use different LLMs as needed.
There's one thing that really disturbs: Most of the time when I start the typingmind app on my Mac I get a white screen reading "buy a lincense".
If I start typingmind from the browser, and then click on open, the app works as expected
Overall, my biggest issues are that many features and settings are not intuitive. Getting a chat rolling, getting a basic agent rolling, getting some models setup via API are all good. Stretching out beyond that at times is difficult without having to stop and try to read information. Sometimes a few simple tool tips would be a fantastic thing to have.
I'm only giving it a three because I feel some of that usability needs alot of polish. Overall though, I have had a positive experience.
I've been using TypingMind as my main interface with models since early 2024 and while I've tried others, including the official apps, TM has always been steps ahead of them. They introduced features months before others, rolled out constant improvements, and shared their story with us, the users. Highly recommended.
After using TypingMind for more than year, I can say it ids my go-to tool for most AI tasks. It can be expanded with plugins. I connected it via MCP to my local RAG, or other RAG services like Vectorize. TypingMindt is pure gem.
