Review for Dugu Qieluo Traditional Archery Horse Recurve Bow Wood Mongolian Hunting Target 15-50 lbs
This is a second review of this bow and I must address some issues:
I purchased this 40lbs bow early 2024, didn't get to use it much due to a surgery I had during the summer break. In my initial review I complained about the serving of the string. The customer service was great and I quite quickly was given a replacement string which seemed better than the original.
However I now have some more complaints about the bow.
1.) Whenever I draw the bow a huge creaking sound is made. It seems as though it is coming from the bow handle
2.) The leather has worn out extremely quickly from shooting my arrows (Archery Carbon Arrows Spine 550 with Replaceable Arrowhead) and has completely been removed from one side
3.) The serving is an issue once again as it doesn't remain in the same spot. It move slightly up and down changing the position of my nocking point and not allowing my nock to firmly fit the string as it is thinner in the area of my nocking point.

1.) The sound is from the connection part between the limb and the riser. It is normal for this type of fiberglass traditional bows. Usually it will disappear after a while. It does not affect the bow's performance.
2.) Please take a few pictures of the worn out leather.
3.) Please take a few pictures of the string and the arrows too.

Great quality products at a fantastic price. The only downside was the time it took to deliver them, hence the 1-star deduction. Other than that everything was good, including brilliant customer service. I will buy from Huntindoor again.
The Bow and Arrow set took approx 10 days longer to arrive than quoted ?The Quiver and one arrow was damaged in transit. The Quiver was quickly replaced after contacting the company but I had to buy a replacement arrow from a local shop as this was needed to complete a
present.
Contacted Brian before ordering and whilst waiting for delivery and he was very helpful.
Products good quality and all delivered intact and well packaged.
The bow and arrow don’t work. The bows get stuck in the arrow and don’t ping anywhere - I’m not expecting great things as it’s a toy for a 4yo. But I was expecting the arrow to at least leave the bow and not get stuck. The arrow wood is “fraying” already, after an adult trying to make it work twice. So now the bow is getting completely stuck.

Said the product was shipped from the UK,it is shipped from China so had to wait ages
The arrows don't clip onto the bow string so is difficult for a child to hold at first until they manage to adjust their fingers over time but it's still not easy
One of the straps on the arm guard has already broken on the 4th go at using it already
Not a top quality product in my opinion, would recommend buying elsewhere
Doesn't come with any instructions either

It came on time which was good but there was two different sized arrows and the flights on one set were much bigger but it’s worked so is what it is

Product fine my only complaint was the amount of time to receive the item, although there was tracking for the product there was not a lot of information regarding its progress to my address some information was not that clear.
Would prefer wooden arrows for "fire & forget mode".
Well, the crossbow was easy to load with these type of arrows.
Out of 24 arrows, only about 6 were used and 3 of them shot at an angle of approx. 45° at 200 LBS couldn't be found any more! 😂
A little too much wrapping on the packaging, other than that spotless, as far as I can tell, I'm a beginner after all.
The service I received from start to finish was wonderful I had no worries about the delivery. The package came on the day it was meant to come I’m very pleased with the service I received and would recommend this service to family and friends
Item is perfect and exactly as described. Only lost a star because I ordered the bow and 2 weeks later they told me it was out of stock and offered an alternative. I advised I did not want the alternative and wanted what I originally ordered. They said ok andthen they sent me the bow? Super confusing and took about a month to arrive but ended up being perfect.
