I paid for express post but due to covid delays it took a while to get to me. I was given a discount when I asked and the service was very timely. I had ordered a tea set for one ! Unfortunately when I unpacked the teapot there was a crack in it. I emailed them and got a timely reply with their apologies. I sent photo of the cracked teapot and they promptly said they would replace the glass teapot which I received today all in working order. The customer service was great and would have no problem ordering from this website again ! This restored my faith in online ordering as I had just previously had a bad experience over a month ago with a online order where I did not receive the product and have tried multiple times to get my money back . I am now going through my credit card company to help me. So it was great to have a positive experience this time around !!
Save your money and go else where, never had anyone yell at me for checking up on my order because of the pandemic delays until i talked to UmiTea. Horrible
they make you put in a fake 5 star review for "free products" they dont even send you. they send my tea to the wrong address and 1) refused to take the blame 2) told me to contact fed ex to fix my order even though they gave the wrong information on the shipping label. i contacted them 2 more times to see if they would fix the order. they said they would and its been 2 months and they havent dont anything about it and blocked me from contacting them. worst customer service ever. im not even trying to be a karen, if you say youre going to do something do it, dont create a fake front to steal money
This tea is wonderful. I love the Peach Blossom tea so much. I only give it 4 stars because it took forever to get to me which I slightly understand. It was free shipping. It took a month to get here. Hopefully the next order I put in will allow me to pay extra to get it here faster. The Yixing TeaPot I got is really good. It’s absolutely beautiful. Can’t tell if it’s authentic or not though.
Terrible tea service. Took ages to come. Broken in parts. Very plastic and poor quality like it had been made in 1970s. Trying to return and cannot get through. Very difficult to get refund. Refund says it will not refund shipping and only partial refund of product is poor quality. Abysmal.
Do not to do shopping in this online store I was so excited with my purchasing in Umi tea sets. And I was so upset when I received my goods. I have ordered Iron Teapot and upon unpacking it was a surprise. The small chips were found on the lid and handle does not work properly. I made several pictures with defects and have sent to the seller. The seller said it is ok. Then I one more time have sent pictures and described all in more details. It is really dangerous because of boiled water in a kettle. The seller agreed with it and approved returns. Since this Monday 24/04, I do not have an opportunity to hear from anybody regarding my reimbursement. Meanwhile, the parcel has been received 20/04. And I have all confirmation and receipts. One can draw conclusions.

I ordered 5 items - 3 caddies, 1 tea brush and 1 tea pet. I received the caddies and brush and I am happy with them. However, I have yet to receive the tea pet, which cost £19.95. In the 2 months since I placed my order, I have emailed Umi Tea Sets several times but have not received a reply, not even an automated one. I have written off the cost of the tea pet as I don’t expect to get any response from the vendor at this point. I would like to warn other potential customers that if you have a problem with your order, prepare to be stonewalled and lose your money.
