In the business world there's an old saying, "It pays to know people". Well when it comes to that point in your life where you need Medicare, it pays to know someone who knows Medicare programs. Well today I met Zach Eaton with United Medicare Advisors and it truly was a blessing. Smart, patient and didn't make me feel as though I should have already known everything he was explaining to me because I already had a Part G plan in place. He explained things well enough so that I was able to help a friend of mine who knows nothing about the system he is about to embark on. A new Supplemental policy with the same coverage--for less money!
United Health Care had increased my Medicare Supplement premium to the point where I decided it was time to find something better and cheaper. I checked with several insurance companies only to find that they were going to charge me huge premiums because of a pre-existing condition. Then a friend recommended Sterling Johnson at United Medicare Advisors. He was able to screen all the Supplemental policies in my state to find one that didn't hike premiums for applicants with my specific pre-existing condition--and I found a new Supplemental policy at a significantly lower premium than I had been paying. I don't think I would have found a new policy at a reasonable price without his help. Thank you, Sterling and United Medicare Advisors!
