This was such an exceptional experience from start to finish. The UOM/OUS staff and advisers were incredibly helpful, supportive, and also quick to respond - and the content of the coursework was incredibly inspiring. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Masters' courses through the University of Metaphysics and the University of Sedona to anyone seeking to expand their own relationship to the divine through a curated learning journey alongside an amazingly supportive staff team!

This school is much more than a learning experience, the subject matter opens doors to better understand yourself. When you explore the suggested reading list, you learn about the inner workings of the mind and how to use the material in everyday life to help you achieve the life that you dream of, and are meant to enjoy.. The staff at the school are very helpful and anytime I’ve ever called to ask a question. The phone was answered promptly or somebody got back to me within an hour or so.. I can’t say enough about this wonderful institution. I proudly display all of my diplomas, knowing I chose the best metaphysical that there is.

From the start of my Bachelor's degree with the University of Metaphysics through my Master’s degree, and finally to my Doctorate with the University of Sedona, the course of studies was invigorating, enjoyable, and ultimately spiritual, providing the knowledge necessary for my awakening to live life fully! A Transformative Journey into Metaphysical Studies

My experience with the University of Metaphysics and the University of Sedona has been truly life-changing. Although I have spent nearly 50 years in ordained ministry, I came to these studies as an empty vessel before a full fountain, thirsting for spiritual refreshment and deeper communion with God. Traditional sermons and bible studies were no longer satiating my spiritual hunger. My soul longed for MORE. Almost serendipitously, metaphysical spirituality found me and led me to the University of Metaphysics and the University of Sedona. What I discovered was an experiential learning environment that combined intellectual exploration with contemplative reflection, immersive meditative practice, and meaningful inner development. The coursework is structured, reflective, and personally engaging. As an adult learner balancing professional responsibilities and major life transitions, I especially appreciated the flexibility of the self-directed format. During a particularly difficult period following my mother’s transition, I experienced meaningful administrative support and received a scholarship that allowed me to continue my studies. That support carried both practical and personal significance for me. Overall, the program strengthened my research skills, expanded my understanding of metaphysical thought, and deepened my contemplative practice in ways that felt both intellectually coherent and personally integrated. This experience has been a rare blend of intellectual rigor, personal autonomy, and genuine support. I deeply value the self-paced structure—because it honors real life while still demanding real consistency. The prompts, guidance, and steady encouragement made it possible to keep moving forward without feeling rushed, pressured, or reduced to a number. Just as meaningful has been the community: the University outlets for connection, the ongoing learning tools, and especially the social media space that keeps the momentum alive beyond coursework. It has felt like an ecosystem—one that continues to teach, reinforce, and expand. What stands out most, however, is the unmatched freedom within the academic path itself. The BA, MA, and PhD track, the research autonomy, and the breadth of creation opportunity are exceptional. Being able to explore topics with depth and originality—without being boxed in—made my work feel both scholarly and alive. And on a human level, this journey carried me through extremes: seasons of professional leadership and high responsibility, and seasons that were, honestly, rock bottom. The fact that I could continue building, thinking, writing, and evolving through every phase of my life while moving toward my degree is something I will always respect about this University.
