To start you could be honest and not deceiving. Your telephone is never answered and it is very difficult to talk to someone after you sign up. Your staff is not very knowledgeable and talking to a supervisor is close to impossible. I have canceled your services, and to be honest your agent. Maria made very easy for me to cancel, just by her attitude and deception.

My experience was good
My experience was good, not great because of the name changes during the process. I did appreciate that initial company sent emails to make certain that I was still on track.
My husband had deceased and left me with a lo of debt.
Each company change caused me to feel like I was going to get shanked, but the people I talked to eventually pulled me out of a dark place.
At the end, which is now; I am knowing not to over-reach my current income. If I can't pay for something with cash; don't buy it.
When I thought it was over last year(2024) and the company wanted to extend the process for another 8-9 months, at first I was flabbergasted, but I saw the need to continue and someone on your staff walked me through the continuation. I wasn't happy, but I presumed I could go just a little further to the end and be comfortable with it.
Living with 1/2 of a household income wasn't easy, but I learned to pinch the pennies and three of my children stepped in to assist.

Not satisfied
I am very disappointed in the way the company was misrepresented during my sign up process. I was told the fee was a lower percentage than the 25% your company charges . I was also disappointed to find out that you get your 25% first, off the top, then the escrow builds up to pay the settlement amount in a lump sum. I received settlement amounts directly from the card issuer, offering me to settle for a lower amount than I will have paid your company, therefore, I saved only 25% of my credit card total amount. VERY IMPORTANT: Please read the contract for the truth and not go on the representative’s sales pitch. If I pull out now, you have been paid and I still owe the settled amount on the agreement. There is no good ending from my prospective. What happened to the monthly fee being collected monthly?

You can settle your debts on your own without these lying scammers taking all your money to pay their fees while all your accounts sit and go unpaid AND CHARGE OFF. They settle accounts and charge $900 to make a call to creditors. Meanwhile the payments are more than what each bank is willing to accept on a payment plan. A bunch of crooks I hope this Co is put out of business. WARNING STAY AWAY!

Probably the worst decision we ever…
Probably the worst decision we ever made... almost 4 months worth of almost 800.00 a month taken out of our account and nothing was done...we called every other day and was told something different by everyone. When we started no one told us our accounts had to CHARGE OFF before they would do anything. So now they have 2400.00 of our money, nothing has been done...we call to cancel it...and you guessed it....they are keeping all our money!! Rip off...

I’m 7 months in with clarity and 1 account settled, at least I hope it is… VERY VERY SLOW to where any accounts you have open that you haven’t included in your debt resolution will be closed because clarity takes their sweet a** time to do anything about them.. Horrible communication and it doesn’t add up with thier payment plan it seems your paying them way more then they’re paying to settle with your creditor… if I would’ve known all this before hand I wouldn’t have done any of this.. Better off settling on your own.. I ve sent settlements to clarity from my creditors and the settlements must be to low for them to make money… company sucks..

Clarity leaves you penniless
Clarity grossly overpromises and underdelivers.
They start with enticingly low payment amounts -- but those funds don't go to the creditors. They go into escrow that Clarity makes its own profits from.
To add every successive creditor to your seemingly affordable payment plan, Clarity adds exorbitant monthly surcharges that make it impossible to pay your other bills -- rent, food, electric, phone. Yes, Clarity offers discounts from what the creditors would charge separately, but not enough to matter.
Clarity doesn't work with key creditors -- and when those creditors come after you, of course, your already costly debt repayment plan with Clarity becomes impossible to sustain. Clarity offers no support against this legal onslaught.
To the extent that Clarity does work with some creditors, they are negligent in allowing these creditors to continue harassing you with legal threats long after you supposedly had a repayment plan with that creditor through Clarity. Repeated phone calls and portal requests to Clarity aren't acted upon; they say they'll refer your request to their legal team, but nothing happens.
Clarity also falls down when you lose your job due to layoff in rough economic times. Clarity couldn't care less about your circumstances. They offer no mercy, no pause on their billing while you start skipping meals and rent.
Clarity does not work for you. They work with creditors to rip you off. They don't deserve your good faith.

The customer service people are great
The customer service people are great. Very helpful and friendly. Your services need better documentation. Where the balance is at and so forth! Monthly payments get paid but you don’t know where we are sitting. Bad info when signing up. You tell us a monthly price for so many months then you settle the debts and now my payments jump sky high. No one told me that was a possibility when signing up. Communication and honesty from a company standpoint could be a lot better. You are supposed to eliminate our debt not continue it. lol. But the people are great. Very nice
