This really is an amazing platform for learning a language. From start to finish the process has been really easy. There are many tutors to choose from at various levels and a good range of lesson prices. I am revising my French and wanted to have weekly lessons in order to enhance my home study. The site is easy to navigate around and it has a very professional front. It is easy to manage the account and payments and the user interface is very informative at every step of the way.
I didn't expect to find such a brilliant tutor and I feel really lucky to have found Priscilla to give me additional support and build my confidence in speaking. Lessons are well prepared, exciting and varied. I really would recommend Verbalplanet to those wanting to learn a language and wish I had found it sooner. It stands head and shoulders above other similar sites. Thanks Verbalplanet.
It's very intuitive and easy to navigate thru the page. My experience with the tutors has been great also. Despite there's a lot of apps and IA to practice a new language, it wouldn't never substitute a real teacher.

It’s the tutors they use
It’s the tutors they use! Take my French tutor Nicolas Jean. I have been having French conversation classes with him for a number of years now. He has a really good sense of humour, corrects my errors using the chat facility on Zoom/Teams while being really relaxed as I talk away prompting me gently or with a bit of translating. He speaks fluent English/ Spanish. And I’ve noticed the improvements on visits to France!
Agi is the best! The hour flies by every time. She is an excellent teacher, not just presenting information from a book, she has a very deep understanding on how to teach the language.
Good : Easy navigating and booking, though expensive, BUT NO REFUND FOR CANCELLED LESSONS, even when many days in advance

VERY DISSATISFYING :
- No REFUND any more of cancelled lessons, even far in advance. Intolerable.
Used to be possible until a couple of years ago.
- Cost of the lesson : Far too expensive for an online 50-min session. About 16 USD!
Gordon is a fantastic teacher and a great motivator . His lesson are fully of empaty and complete with information and details . Mine is a wonderful path of knowledge of the English language!
