SCAM!!!!
The UTV information I received was very basic (Model, trim and year) and barely worth the $1. Don't waste your time or give them ANY financial information. VinInspect is just a cleaver way for a scammer to get paid. Any positive reviews you see are vague and self generated. You've been warned!

SCAM ALERT: Hidden $100 Subscription Trap Via GoChat Rewards!
Do not trust VINinspect or its sister company EpicVIN. They are using deceptive marketing funnels inside trusted apps to harvest credit card details and trap users into massive unauthorized charges. The Trap: VINinspect advertises a promotion inside the GoChat app rewards section offering a report using 100 reward points. When you follow the link to their site, they ask you to enter your credit card details to pay a nominal fee of 1 USD for what seems like a one-time service. The Robbery: They completely hide the fact that this enters you into a strict 3-day trial period. Exactly 3 days later, without sending any prior notification, warning, or invoice, VINinspect automatically charges your card a massive USD 99.99 (approximately 367 AED). The Fake Refund Policy: When you catch the charge and immediately demand your money back, their customer service refuses to refund your actual credit card. Instead, they try to force you to accept "store credit" balance on their own website, which is completely useless and a direct violation of standard consumer payment rights. WARNING ON CARD SAFETY: Looking closer at other negative reviews for both VINinspect and EpicVIN, many users report that even after canceling the subscription, this company continues to charge their cards using the saved billing profile. I was forced to completely block and replace my credit card with my bank to protect myself. Do not be fooled by any positive ratings here—from my experience and reading the hundreds of other horror stories, the positive reviews are highly likely fake or manipulated to drown out the real victims. Stay far away from this predatory scam!

Looking for a used van on FB Marketplace can be tough with no Carfax, etc. This report gave me plenty of information to confirm the title and history was legit. Be mindful of the fees after 3 days, after the reports are seen, download them and cancel the membership immediately.

Unwanted subscription renewal - bad customer service!
I only wanted one VIN report, so I signed up for the $1 3-day trial. After 3 days, I received notification that I was charged $99.99 for my first month's subscription. Literally minutes after I received notification, I logged in, canceled my subscription, and contacted them requesting a refund. They refused. No wonder they wouldn't accept my valid credit card when I signed up, only a debit card. I'm sure they don't want people disputing their unwanted charges!

Great Information for purchasing a Used Car!
I only needed a single report for a car I was purchasing from a private owner. The report filled in the gaps that CARFAX doesn't have. The only improvement I would like to see is more information about auctions the car passed through. All in all the information was good and they sent me a reminder that my trial was ending 2 days before it did so I could cancel.

I just needed a single VIN report and paid the $1. The next day I canceled my subscription. It was NO PROBLEM. However, CHECK YOUR EMAIL! You must login to your new account. They give you a login and password that you must use to access your account and cancel. It was reasonable for what they asked from customers.

useful finding hidden car problems and price history. cancelled after my first report due to huge subscription cost.
Their report helped me find out that the car I was looking at in Romania had been sold for half the price at an auction in Canada and the engine needed to be replaced. However, they need to be more transparent abot the subscription cost and automatic enrollment of 35$ after you purchase a 1$ report.
