The staff at Chichester No.1 Currency - 16 Market Road Chichester have always provided me with excellent service. I don't go anywhere else as I have confidence in using them . The occasional transfer of monies to my overseas members of my family, has been accurate and speedy and easy too.
Western Union is often the only way to send money to friends and family in developing countries so it helps to bring these countries forward. The small fee of two euros is okay but an eight percent cut is quite a lot on larger amounts. The work handing over 500 euros in a local currency is not more time consuming than handing out 50.

I dislike the part you can’t talk to human when you need to ask or solve an issue! Options provided on the customer was so limited that it does not provide option to talk to real person or an agent!
The app is easy to use, but beware of the agent on the other end! For whatever reason, the agent on the other end used every excuse possible not to provide the funds to the receiver… even after the same agent had given funds to the same receiver on multiple occasions!
exchange rate is lower compared to other money remittances. I noticed that whenever I signed in, i get much lower rates as well compared to non member. You can check previous transactions.. thanks
Immediately I told them to cancel my transfer they did and I received the money back in the account. This was on 6/24/26 This company is doing an excellent service

My online transfer was denied. The next day my in-store cash transfer was also denied....no explanation given. Had to call customer service to find out my "Profile" was suspended until I provided information that was not any of their business. My account is still suspended. I have used Western Union for several years while volunteering in the Philippines. I guess their AI thinks I'm a fraudster or terrorist by trying to send $100 to help a friend in the hospital. What's worse is that they shared their erroneous info with other money transfer companies which denied me from making the transfer. I guess I need to find a different company or financial institution that will mind their own business instead of mine.
My sister was able to pick up the money with no problem. The only problem I had was that I sent 250.00 dollars and they converted the 50 into pesos because they don’t have 50 dollar bills.

We had some bumps in the beginning but WU was good about resolving them, Now, WU is critical to my existence as an expat in the Philippines by making my money transfers to my wife and family here work as well as they do. I can transfer cash without having to use my credit cards with interest all of the time. So, thank you for making my life easier.
That I can transfer money from my phone without leaving my house, and without going the bank and withdraw money. Its very convenient. I wish the transfer fee wasn't to expensive to send to other countries.
I was glad to see the online WU working again, but still it is clunky. It would not go from one transfer to the next, had to sign out then back in again. I prefer it to using the app because the app feels less secure on my phone.
