I wish I'd chosen this school first
I love the open format. If I were familiar with the material, I could essentially test out of the course and continue with my degree. In brick-and-mortar schools, I felt stagnant. I'd finish the weekly work and wait until the professor opened the next assignment. That wasn't a problem at WGU. My mentor was a great person who helped me throughout my journey. When I had questions, she found the answers. My professors were very responsive. The financial and student records offices were just an email away. I'm glad there was a class that forced me to write a resume. That did wonders for my professional confidence; however, I would've been happier if that class also focused on writing a CV, narrowing down graduate schools, and graduate school application essays and interviews.

Being able to make fulfill my dream of obtaining my BA is one of highlights of my adult life. WGU gave me the opportunity to do so, at my own pace and time. Their flexibility with course completion allowed me to still be a mom, and a wife.
I'm grateful for the help and assistance I received during my program.
I look forward to starting my Masters program in January to fulfill yet another goal and dream.

WGU was a great way to earn my MBA! I loved being able to go at my own speed and prove my competence without having just to spend time with my butt in a seat. It's a great way to earn your degree if you can be self-motivated and don't need your hand held throughout your learning process. The only negative I have to say is that the proctoring process on tests is absolutely ridiculous!

What made my experience great? Having the ability to gain a recognized degree without having to waste years of life. I was able to access the material and learn at my own pace, while having a community (Facebook, Reddit, Discord) to help guide me and support me. Being assigned a personal mentor to reach out to when I am feeling down so they can offer guidance for my next move. The only negative towards WGU is the live proctoring that takes place as there could be issues during that process that is hectic.
