I applied for a scholarship opportunity through Wiccan Academy and paid the $5 application fee to be considered.
Shortly afterward, I received an email stating that a winner had already been selected and that the decision had come down to me and one other applicant. The email also offered me the opportunity to purchase the program for a discounted price.
What concerned me was that shortly after receiving that message, I received another email stating that the scholarship winner would be announced the following day. The two emails directly contradicted each other, so I reached out for clarification.
After sending a detailed inquiry, I received only a brief one-sentence response stating that the emails had been sent by mistake and that I should disregard them. But which one? Which email was I supposed to disregard? I still have no idea.
While mistakes can happen, the situation left me questioning the transparency of the scholarship process. I would have appreciated a more thorough explanation, especially since applicants paid a fee to participate. Not to mention, I never even received an email stating who the winner was.
My intention is not to discourage others, but simply to share my experience so that prospective applicants can make an informed decision and ask questions if they encounter similar issues.
Wicca Academy gives you a lot of information and is very knowledgeable. The videos and tutorials in all 10 courses are excellent! When you need help with tech support for platform information or issues they are right on top of things. The quizzes are great and so is all the materials.
The waking community is very helpful, knowledgeable, and very very friendly. The group gives you a lot of new ideas and thoughts towards the Wiccan practice and a bunch of others. I am so grateful that I found Wicca Academy in a Facebook search they truly made my Wiccan experience a more profound one. Thank you so much and I will continue with the community and much more. I would highly recommend joining this magnificent group and organization even if you are new to Wicca, this is definitely something that is well worth investigating!

Quick response to my weekend purchase and a very user-friendly website. As a beginner, I really appreciate the learning path - it starts simple and gradually builds up in a clear, easy-to-follow way.
I just finished the course this morning and since I started, I have been noticing things that I haven’t noticed before, for instance I am more aware of how the phases of the moon affects our moods daily. Thank you so much Wicca academy for teaching me my heritage.

I love my Witchy Wednesday Coven!
The course work is well laid out and easy to complete at your own pace. The Coven meetings are my favorite part as it brings together a community of like-minded people that can share and grow together. Sometimes the energy is buzzing with so much positivity that I can't sleep after a meeting; that's when I know it was a GREAT meeting! I love the way everyone participates, and the space is safe for everyone.
I love that you can take the courses at your own pace, taking them as many times as you like. Gives room for you to learn and remember what you learn. The Weekly meetings are interesting. Always full of information from different backgrounds. Love that you can ask questions without judgement
This is a legit Wicca Academy to Learn & Grow! The lessons are so helpful & easy to understand. The Coven Meetings every Wednesday are absolutely uplifting & positive. I look forward to this group of like-minded individuals every week!

I wouldn't be the Witch I am today without…
I love how the lessons are broken down into small but understandable bits of information. The weekly meeting makes everything come together as the discussions are both informative and free-flowing. Everyone within the group offer their knowledge, whether great or small, to make the crooked path easier to understand. I truely look forward to the meetings every week as they recharge my "witchy batteries" to want to discover more.
