We always want our customers to have a great experience with WonderConnect, so we're sorry to hear that you had difficulties during your trip. We checked your eSIM and can confirm that the 10 GB data allowance was fully used over a period of 9 days. Sometimes, mobile data can be used up faster than expected due to background activities on your phone. Especially when travelling, we tend to take lots of photos and videos, which may be automatically uploaded to services like iCloud. App updates and cloud backups can also consume quite a bit of data. That's why we generally recommend disabling automatic uploads and background updates when travelling. Regarding the remaining data shown in our app, the balance is normally updated with only a slight delay. However, once the data allowance is exhausted, the app may not be able to refresh the balance without an internet connection, which could explain the difference you experienced. We really appreciate your feedback and will continue working to make the experience even better. We hope you'll give WonderConnect another chance on your next trip! Dear Michelle, We are very sorry to hear about your experience. We completely understand how frustrating it must be to see a 20 GB data package used up within such a short period of time, especially while travelling. After receiving your review, we checked the available network usage records with our provider. They confirm that the full 20 GB of data was actually consumed through the eSIM. The eSIM and data package worked as expected, and we found no indication of a technical issue on our side. The records also show several periods of unusually high data consumption within a relatively short amount of time. The usage pattern indicates that the high consumption was generated by data activity on the device, although the network records cannot tell us which individual app or service was responsible. On an iPhone, you can usually check which apps and system services have been using cellular data under Settings > Cellular / Mobile Service. In some cases, large amounts of data can be used in the background, for example by iCloud Photos or backups, app or iOS updates, video streaming, or offline downloads from services such as Netflix or YouTube. We’re sorry that this affected your experience with WonderConnect. We’ll contact you directly and will be happy to help you check the cellular data usage on your iPhone to better understand what may have caused the unusually high consumption.
