The website makes it easy to place an order and the shipping was fast and free. The installation went smoothly and the fit is exactly right. I ordered two of the same items because the first didn’t come right away and I contacted customer service and asked how to return one of them and they were so kind and told me they would give me a refund and I could donate the item to a trade school near me. I thought that was absolutely fantastic and I will be making it a point to get them to the school and tell them where they came from. Definitely will recommend A-1 Auto to friends and family.
The new tail light units for my 2005 Nissan Frontier are exactly like the originals and fit nicely. The instructional video made installation easy and is very detailed. The package also included new plastic sockets for the metal rods on the units. Unfortunately, when I tried installing the new sockets, they wouldn't fit. Upon comparing them to the originals, I noticed the new sockets were slightly smaller, so I used the originals. I also noticed that when I tightened the screws that hold the units in place, the units twisted toward the rear of the vehicle, leaving a gap between the units and the sides of the truck. So instead of using a wrench, I hand-tightened the screws. This worked perfectly! (I used a wire brush on my grinding wheel to clean the screws before reinstalling them which made hand-tightening easy.)
The reason I go to 1A for parts is they support you with whatever you need to verify with a lifetime warranty also. I had parts that were purchased 3 years ago, just recently going to have them installed. I had not placed the order but 1A verified all the part numbers and guaranteed fitment and re Expressed their lifetime warranty. Pricing, delivery, quality and tech support
1A was great. Had a little issue in the beginning, with the part being incorrect. I do not blame 1A, it seemed like a manufacturer issue. 1A got me straightened out and I'm on the road again. My only complaint was with the manufacturer. Heavier parts need reinforced packaging. My axle came apart and I had to reassemble and repack the grease before installing. Luckily axles are simple, more complex parts would have an issue in that flimsy packaging.
Orders ship within hours of order placement with fast delivery. Had a part come in defective and they immediately sent a replacement.

Your company can't improve when a customer need their product ...your third party never got its product ,spend good amount of money promise it will arrived on that date it was daleyed my vehicle up on Jack's and I need to make quota ups is your delivery company ...I as many will not use your company to buy any product from a1!
Installed the AC condensor for my 2010 avalanche and it fit great. Had to do a little tweak on the tube of the vehicle to get the top port to line up but wasn't a big problem. Even came with the needed seals.
Very helpful mechanic video explaining how to change my alternator. Awesome attitude! I feel welcomed compared to going into a Napa/oreilly auto parts store.

Submitted a warranty claim on an item purchased 27 months ago that has a lifetime warranty. After I provided some basic information, 1A Auto honored the warranty and is sending the replacement within 48 hours.
I ordered replacement door handles for my 2009 Toyota RAV 4, only to have that project put on the backburner following the birth of my wife and I's 2nd child last summer. Between that and the dead cold of winter in the Midwest I was not able to attempt replacing them until this spring once the weather warmed up. Upon attempting to replace, however, I noticed the parts ordered were incorrect. When I contacted 1A to try and get it corrected, they refused to correct the order or be understanding of the situation, citing their 60-day return policy. As someone who has worked in customer service for almost 20 years this is unacceptable. I had been happy with all of my previous orders and experiences with 1A Auto, but this experience left a very sour taste in my mouth. I will not be using 1A Auto any more going forward, and I strongly would not recommend 1A Auto to any of my friends or family.
I first was on the website and found what I needed and the plus was being able to overnite (my car was down and I'm doing the work myself)the part as I needed it ASAP, a lot of other places don't give you that option. Then I found I needed one more part which I didn't find, so I called them and the lady on the phone found what I needed and was again able to overnite that as well. So, having the right parts and the ability to get them is what makes the difference and they will be my first call and website option. Dean Cripps
Their dirty secret is that when you need a warranty replacement they want a mechanic shop to certify that the part is failing but you have to pay for the 1-2 hr labor which is more than what a new part costs and of course they won’t reimburse you it’s like buying the part again not buying from them again
I ordered tow mirrors for my truck it says it was an exact fit for my truck and package I installed the mirrors anand my check engine light came on. The passenger mirror didn't have the Temp sensor in it. No mention on the web about this. I called and Stacy made it seem like they were doing me a favor of accepting the return. Then they charged me $59 for shipping for a part that doesn't work for my vehicle. This is unacceptable. Won't buy from them anymore.Shady business practices.
A1 auto has outstanding videos on diy repairs! I was able to change my struts and brake pads and rotors with ease, thanks to their videos. Keep up the great work A1 auto.
I have used 1Aauto many times before and never had any issues, recently I had misordered parts. Due to slight misunderstanding on my end of the vehicle platform, I ordered brake parts that were compatible with multiple trims of the vehicle I was working on but did not fit what I had as I needed the smaller brake setup. I began the refund process and it went quickly and painlessly. My refund process was approved and pushed forward in under 24 hours. Fantastic customer service and punctuation! Will continue to use them.
The customer service was outstanding. A one-time refund was issued for a part the failed after installation, even though that is not company policy. Also, the prices on 1A Auto are very reasonable.
