Customer service was not responsive across all channels
Due to shipping delay, i had to contact Chrono24. There was no one on the phone to answer my calls, live chat took a day to respond, WhatsApp chat took more than 7 hours to respond.

Very prompt responses from IPPO JAPAN WATCH on all of my queries. However, was slightly surprised at how long the shipment took to arrive. The item was only mailed out close to two weeks after I made payment when I had checked that the item I ordered (SBDY063 / SRPE39K1) was already released in Japan. When it arrived, the watch face did not have a clear plastic covering and was slightly dusty.
No overt issues with the whole transaction. Quite smooth. Just that payment could not be split into 2 credit card payments, which ruled out using newer Fintech cards with better forex conversion rates but lower per transaction limits. Something to improve upon in the future.
1) escrow service is an excellent arrangement to give buyers a piece of mind.
2) staff, even when contacted by phone, are not actually aware of the status of
the transaction, nor are they familiar with seller’s customs or transport
requirements.
Seller never shipped my item. I suspect he was selling something he didn’t own in the first place. Chrono24 issues me a refund after I waited 10 days for the shipment to arrive.

Great platform but a slight problem with trusted payment gateway
As a platform, Chrono24 has provided timepiece buyers and sellers an opportunity to source all available pieces worldwide.
However, I faced a problem with trusted payment gateway. As much as it provides buyers a piece of mind while purchasing, there was an error paying via the payment gateway after trying multiple times across different devices and platforms. This was eventually resolved after half a day and everything went on smoothly from there on.
Very convenient and easy to deal.
Only gripe is the exchange rate differences between the initial valuation and the final transaction price makes the watches I bought more Expensive
Beware of Chrono24 scams and lack of help from customer service
Well designed platform offering tons of options. But I was scammed for a $20,000 purchase and Chrono24 did not help me. I called them dozens of times and sent multiple emails. Pleased for help, but they wrote me off.
Massive collection of sellers and watches. Keeps prices competitive. Most sellers are responsive and genuine, though I’ve only made 1 purchase to date. Prices on eBay are occasionally better. I also prefer buying luxury watches through a meet up which many overseas sellers cannot arrange for. The app and website does make it easy to use as price reference for almost any any watch I see in the wild.
Slow or no answer to queries.
Lack of efforts in understanding client’s issues and findign solutions.
