Provided the structural survey for a property purchase. The report was comprehensive and provided details of potential issues with the property. The report advised estimated costs which were then used to negotiate a reduction in the property purchase price. The survey and report were turned around in two weeks. Happy with the service provided.
John has surveyed two of our properties now and we have been pleased with the quick and professional service and Andrea too many thanks
Excellent Company! John and Amanda were great throught the entire process.
We employed John to draw plans and submit planning permission for an extension on our home. John seemed very confident and knowledgable on the first few contacts. Once we paid him and the plans were submitted we had nothing but problems with him. The plans were submitted wrong several times, contacting John became near impossible and his attitude to us was poor. We ended up not being able to speak to him at all despite randomly turning up at his office. We have ultimately had to employer a new architect to finish our planning permission.
Please do not use this company. The house has several problems including a serious structural issue none of which were identified in the building survey conducted by this company. It looks like it’s going to be £30000+ and moving out for at least a month. The issues are well known in the area and our neighbours (who had competent surveyors) had the cost of the work taken off their house price because of their surveys. We have young children so this will be a huge inconvenience not to mention cost. They have not responded to a formal complaint.
Thanks for a professional service from start to finish. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.
The surveyor didn't identify that the neighbours rear extension was over my property by a foot and had actually taken over my rear extension wall, causing a dispute with the neighbours and led to me spending a lot more and rebuilding the whole extension. Such a major issue should have been picked up the surveyor.
My survey failed to highlight a significant structural issue to a house that I purchased, which was later pointed out to me by two builders who noticed it without even coming in to the property. It subsequently cost me thousands to correct. I provided plenty of photographic evidence to the company but I received no reply whatsoever to my emails. Mistakes happen but their lack of response is appalling.
After finding an old barn in Dinnington to re build to make into our forever home we were introduced to John and his team . We found the whole experience dealing with CS Surveying professional nothing was ever too much, John was always at the end of the phone to help and deal with any queries we had . We would highly recommend John and his team 5 star experience. Martin Ellery
Great company to work with, John and Amanda were lovely to deal with, survey was completed in a wonderfully short time frame and was comprehensive. I especially appreciated the follow up phone call to discuss findings, potential costs and an order of priority.
The company surveyed the bungalow we were buying. Upon moving in we found discrepancies with the report, one of the major ones being that we couldn't open the porch door as it was completely sealed up. This wasn't even mentioned in the survey. They never returned phonecalls and it has taken many months to get a response from them. That was only after sending our own quotes for a replacement door to them after which I received a rather rude and threatening email from them.
It did go through a good number of Level 3 reports and the CS Surveying report was more detailed than any other and comprehensive and easy to understand. John gave me a call while at the house and we had a good conversation about the current state of the house. I was able to negotiate the price a little more. Andrea has been quick to respond. The timeline for the delivery of the report was kept, in fact, it was a day earlier which is appreciated. I would recommend this company if you are looking for professional, reliable service.
