Former happy customer saddened by awful experience
I have been a VERY happy Gobble customer for years.
But this week my food was never delivered (although I was charged for it last week). The only communication I got about it was from Veho (and even that was limited and late). I have contacted Gobble in every way possible - phone, text, email, web form submission - and I have not even received an automated response. Nothing. It's been 4 days of silence.
It's a service. If there is no service - not even communication - then there is no commercial value whatsoever. The only reason I give it 2 instead of 1 stars is because until this moment, I was happy.
But now, I am canceling my subscription, never to return.
The company was offering a $10 credit for leaving a review. They wanted positive reviews. I would recommend reading their reviews carefully and factoring that in because their quality is declining, their customer service sucks and they no longer give decent amounts of credits when they completely mess up your order.
They requested these reviews in concert with raising their prices. I would be very wary of any review that has come in from them in the past month and a half since they were soliciting reviews for credits.
I would be happy to send screenshots of the email soliciting reviews for credits to anyone who is curious about it.

We love everything about Gobble - even when things don't go perfectly...
We love everything about Gobble. The meals are varied and fantastically tasty. The packaging is first rate. We are convinced this is the best business model for the home delivery meal preparation kits and we've tried many of them.
Even when something goes wrong - a piece of produce isn't as fresh as it should be or a delivery arrives late - they are responsive, friendly and go above and beyond to ensure their customers remain satisfied. I'd give them 10 stars if it were an option and that's coming from a multi-year customer who just got done having an issue with a delivery showing up a day late and not as cold as it needed to be to maintain quality (not Gobble's fault - this one was on the delivery service).
As usual, they made it right quickly, professionally, and kept us as happy Gobblers!

Excellent quality meals
I have tried several meal delivery kits and what I like the most about Gobble is that their food tends to be a very high quality and I can prepare the meal in about 20 minutes.
They send really good portion sizes and frequently include a salad along with the meal and side dishes.
The recipes are easy to follow and they do some of the prep work for you by having things like their shallot garlic confit already prepared.
Their sauces are very flavorful.
