I use Guitar Tricks every time I practice my Guitar. I like all the instructors and have learned a lot from there lessons. I would recommend them to people who are just picking up the guitar for the first time to experienced players.

Perfec, new player in my sixties. I tried several other apps, this one is the best. The videos shows hand positioning for chords and what string to play for the chords. Couldn’t have done any better!
New Subscriber with one week experience
I have only had it for about a week. I am going to be 63 this week. I use to try to play guitar when I was in my twenties. Then I really didn't play too much. I retired last year and decided to try to play again. It's hard. I just want to be able to play a few songs and sound decent on the acoustic guitar. So far, I am very impressed it has so much to offer.

Guitar tricks is a awesome site to learn Guitar ive used it for a year now and its been so great ive learned so much its very easy to use so many videos on all topics for Guitar best learning guitar out there I highly recommend Guitar tricks and customer service is great they answer questions you might have very fast its a 10 + site .
Gave up my live teacher!
I had been working with a teacher (via zoom) who had steared me away from guitar basics into writing and singing. I reached a point where I realized my writing was limited by my playing skills. While I tried to get him to help me improve, his advice was primarily to work on my own. I was paying him $40 every two weeks for a 40 minute lesson. I fired him without a plan. I read reviews for various platforms and chose Guitar Tricks. Less than 1/2 of what I was paying. I already feel I have improved as a player and it has only been a few weeks! I love the fact that each lesson is a short enough bite that I can quickly move on if I can or stick around for as long as I need to gain that skill. AND there are so many choices of lessons that I can spread my learning into different areas simultaneously. Great website! Great instructions! Great instructors!
I’ve been using GT for about a week.
I’ve been using GT for about a week, and so far it’s been great. I’m an advanced beginner, and have been using Justin’s Guitar for about 2 years. Wanted to try something different and heard great things about GT. Im very pleased with the fundamental courses. Well structured and I love how a song is used to reinforce what’s being taught. My only critiques: 1. It would be nice if there was a practice organizer built into the website. But not a huge deal. 2. There are a lot of songs in the library. But missing Artists and songs that I would have expected to be there. I mean, no Metallica or Black Sabbath?? No Neil Young? Nirvana has been done well, with lots of tutorials. But other artists are a bit lacking of song choices. It also would be great if the songs music notations could be practiced and played along with (like on UG or Songster) after being learned from the tutorial. I could just use those sites, but would rather practice the way it’s being taught in the tutorials. But, overall, I am pleased with the general lessons. Look forward to the Rock and Blues courses.

I am a slow learner. Been that way all my life with everything I try. I am a novice guitar player learning by ear. However, this tool (Guitar Tricks) has benefited me especially with finger placement. I have small hands so I found this instruction very helpful. I like the methodical slow progression as it fits with my personal learning curve. I am looking forward to advancing with this tool.

Friendly and clear teaching, very simple, easy to understand so that you can make real progress! Also Customer Service is outstanding in their response to the student’s needs and concerns. If there were a rating higher than 5, I would give it to Guitar tricks! I can actually see my performance on the guitar getting better, yes seeing is really believing! If you really want to learn to play guitar in different styles and genres, then GuitarTricks is the way to go!
I can not say enough about Guitar…
I can not say enough about Guitar Tricks!! They are the best place to learn or advance your skills, no matter what Lever player you might be, bar none. They are very easy to learn from, they always give you a personal help on any issues that you may have. I'm not one to give references but they are a 20 on a scale of 1 to 10! They are always there to help you with any issues you many heave and I really like that.

I just got started with the lessons
I just got started with the lessons. The in-depth approach and attention to detail are better than anything you will find on YouTube. The structure of the lessons and detailed breakdown is a pure masterclass of musicianship, ready for consumption. I have already learned a lot in such a short period of time. Highly Recommended.

Just a couple of days in, but I thought it would be more structured. Also I find the lessons I'm working on to be a bit rushed. Expecting more, but maybe it will come down the road.

I think the lesssons on the website are quite good. It seems they are put together in a way to have little successes quite often. Makes learning more fun. Looks to be alot more to do when I am better at playing.
