Let the buyer beware

Let the buyer beware. I purchased a Movado from Jacob time on November 28. I gave it to My Wife upon receipt a few days later and she wasn’t crazy about the style. I sent an email to Jacob time and explain the situation and asked if they could order the new one. They said no, just return the one I purchased. I returned the wristwatch on December 3 and they received it on December 5. I have sent three emails asking to verify receipt and refund. I’ve also made two phone calls. They don’t answer the phone at all. Nor have they replied to any of my emails so approximately two weeks later, I am still in this Neverland. And looking at reviews on this site and yelp, I have found that this is very common for them to not make refunds on return or other situations. So I’ve had to resort to filing a complaint with my bank and also to leave word on social media to keep away Also never realized how useless PayPal is. I played a game where in my 3 calls would I understand more than 3 words. Nope

Would not recommend

Would not recommend. We ordered size 10 men’s shoes and when they arrived, they were size 10 women’s shoes. I understand that mistakes happen but when you call them (multiple times on various days) there is NEVER an answer nor a way to leave a message. The paperwork in the box with the shoes says no returns. That was not on the website. I’ve emailed and called with no response. Jacobtime, please don’t ask me to email you, because you know that you aren’t going to reply. If you were going to reply, you would have already. FYI- shoes being shipped back and expecting a refund!

NO STARS

NO STARS - this is a SCAM. I ordered a pair of shoes and they sent me a used pair that were nearly worn out. Not the $120 pair I ordered. There was no way to contact the company via email (the email bounced when I tried to send) or using the order number in their system. No 'returns' mentioned anywhere on their website. NO ONE answered the phone numbers given - any of the four lines available. BEWARE!

Highly pissed off

I wish I could give a half star. Waist of time! Buyers Beware!!! Don't buy anything from this company....CROOKS THEY SENT ME A SATCH IN A PAPER BAG THAT WAS TORN OPEN. SMH JACOB TIME, IF YOURE READING THIS...you better be careful before you slip and fall, and you can't get up! I have zero tolerance for this.

12/27/22 Please read other negative reviews. They are scamming people; Using funds paid by consumers then ultimately refunding IF you catch them. I just read the reviews. Shame on me. Please be careful of this company. Original review— “Unprofessional “customer service” rep, Michelle. I was charged and never sent merchandise. BUYER BEWARE! Do NOT do business with this company. Now disputing charges with my bank”. Follow-up 12/27. Jacobtime is now saying the charge was “declined” when actually, they had said there was an issue with the shipping address not matching the billing address. Instead of reaching out to me, they cancelled the order. If I had not seen the charge clear my bank, I would never have known. Jacobtime would have been paid and I never received the merchandise. They have subsequently credited me but not without a LOT of effort. The CS rep hung up on me and someone at JT—not certain who, is claiming I swore at her. This is absolutely false. Seems to be a pattern... Do what they want, blame the customer for their issues, lie, and put the burden of proof on the customer. BUYER BEWARE! I have proof of the charge to my account and the credit they eventually issued. NO merchandise. VERY UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

Purchased 2 new Bulova around Thanksgiving on their website. Opened in January and it stopped working in July. Email, called, sent a contact request however Jacob Time doesn't respond for customer service after sale. Phone number is disconnected.

Exactly what I ordered, nearly 2/3rds cheaper the price I saw on other sites and showed up in 2 days. Seriously, if the rest of Jacobtime products are the same you'd be a fool for not ordering from them. I know I'll look to again in the future.
