Wonderful Writing Advisor - James Fleming

My writing advisor Professor James Fleming has been incredibly helpful during the application process from drafting my personal statement to editing my activity section and secondary essays. He provided lots of constructive feedback and encouragement along the way. I am extremely grateful for having him as my writing advisor!

Hi Emmanuel, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your situation. We understand how challenging it can be to pursue medical education, especially when financial barriers stand in the way. MedSchoolCoach is a private educational consulting service. We strongly encourage you to explore opportunities that may support your medical journey. There are numerous scholarships, grants, and financial aid programs available for students in Nigeria and internationally. Organizations such as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and various international foundations offer financial assistance to students with strong academic potential. In addition, we offer a number of free resources on our website and on our Prospective Doctor platform to help aspiring medical students like yourself. These resources include articles, guides, and videos on topics such as medical school admissions, exam preparation, and career planning. We encourage you to explore these tools, as they may provide valuable insights to support your journey. Furthermore, we offer the Harvey Katzen Scholarship, which provides assistance to students pursuing a career in medicine. We encourage you to explore this scholarship and apply if you meet the eligibility criteria. You can find more details about it on our website. Ziad Hassan = WORLD'S BEST MCAT TUTOR

As I studied for the MCAT for the second time, Ziad helped me navigate and overcome my previous struggles. It is one thing for somebody to be a genius, and it is another to be able to effectively teach struggling others. Ziad is both. I learned so much from Ziad. He not only taught me content but also tips and tricks for the test. Beyond his exquisite knowledge and teaching ability, Ziad is an extremely caring person. He is not only tutoring for the money. He is genuinely invested in his students and he works hard to help them succeed. Ziad is going to be an incredible physician who not only changes individual lives but the medical world as a whole. He is the best tutor you could ask for.

She's the best!

I used MedSchoolCoach to help me with my medical school application process. Hillary helped me with all my essays, and I can emphatically say that she knows what she's doing! She never took away my voice or personality in my writing when she made edits. I was always confident in my submissions after working with Hillary. I am now entering my second year of medical school, and I definitely wouldn't be here without Hillary's help!

I wanted some extra support for Step 2....

I wanted some extra support and tutoring for Step 2. I decided to sign up for a consultation, which was great. I discussed enrollment with Elizabeth, who listened and took the time to help me figure out what suited me best for my exam. My tutor, Paige, is so encouraging and supportive; she helps you understand how to tackle the questions! I recommend 10/10 for step 2 tutoring! -Tamara

COMLEX Level 1 Success with MedSchooCoach

I used MedSchoolCoach for my COMLEX Level 1 exam. My tutor was so helpful! She really worked with me to design a constructive study plan, tweak it with the progress I made on my COMSAEs, and build in topics that I was weak on. It was so nice having someone there to encourage me during dedicated. She was really easy to get in contact with, super responsive, and very flexible with scheduling. I was able to successful score a "pass" on my test with her help! So grateful!

Reapplicant accepted to multiple schools

Dr. Nelson was a better advisor than I could have asked for. I used MedSchoolCoach during the 2021-2022 cycle with a different advisor, received bad advice, and had no interviews. This time around, while I was initially skeptical, Dr. Nelson made sure that every corner of my application was perfect. I was fortunate to receive multiple acceptances, including my top choice school. He was extremely accessible and always around to answer any questions or provide advice. Dr. Nelson redeemed my MedSchoolCoach experience, and I will definitely will be working with him again in the future!

I would not hire this company again

I would not hire this company again. My son was a Canadian applying to US medical schools and he only needed help with essays. He did not get even one interview out of 10 schools he applied to. Please do not hire this company at all. I wasted my $10,000.

Dr. Ruby is great!

Dr. Ruby was a great guide during this process. He helped me as I received multiple acceptances to top-choice programs and was always an amazing and honest resource. Through my personal statement writing, he helped provide the backbone to my essay and showed me how to present my story in the best light. With activities and the rest of the primary application, he was able to offer invaluable advice when it came to crafting the presentation of myself and what attributes to highlight. During my interviews, he was incredibly helpful in making me feel prepared and confident going into each interview. I am incredibly thankful for all of his help, and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a guide to help you achieve the best outcome.

Great Experience

Medical School Coach has been instrumental prior to and through medical school experience. With their guidance, l've successfully prepared for several board exams. Their tutors are approachable and supportive, making studying more manageable. Thanks to their help, I've gained a solid grasp of challenging subjects. If you're seeking reliable support for your medical education journey, l highly recommend Medical School Coach.

Accepted to multiple top-choice schools w/ Dr. Ruby

I worked with Dr. Ruby through the 2023-2024 MD application cycle and cannot recommend him highly enough. Throughout each stage of the process, he proactively scheduled Zoom calls to explain what to expect, checked in on my progress, and promptly edited any essay or update letter I sent his way. As someone who typically struggles with interviews, I found his guidance invaluable. He provided examples of how to structure my responses and conducted mock interviews, offering constructive criticism while recognizing my unique strengths. His encouragement gave me the confidence I needed before interviewing. Ultimately, I was accepted to nearly every school I interviewed at, including several of my reach schools. This success would not have been possible without Dr. Ruby.

Highly Recommend Dr. Ruby

I worked with Dr. Ruby through the entire application process and had a great experience. He was always available to answer my questions and guided me to multiple interviews and an MD acceptance. I am very happy to have been paired with him through this journey

Highly Recommended Dr. Nelson

Working with Dr. Nelson over the last two years has been great. He is incredibly knowledgeable and helped navigate each step of the application process. He went above and beyond, and I’d highly recommend him as an advisor! Darlene Holt was also incredibly helpful in writing my personal statement, activity descriptions, and secondaries!

Fantastic Experience with Dr. Ruby, Amy Whitcomb, MSC

I worked with Dr. Ruby in the 2023/2024 application cycle for medical school, and I could not have asked for a better experience. He objectively evaluated my strengths and weaknesses as a candidate, provided tailored and actionable feedback, and enabled me to tell my story in the most effective way possible. I have now been accepted to a medical school that was at the top of my list. This would not have been possible without Dr. Ruby's guidance, nor without the expertise of my writing advisor Amy Whitcomb.

Med School Application Experience w/ Dr. Ruby

Dr. Ruby was incredibly helpful, kind, and generous throughout the advising process as I applied to medical school. I do not believe that I would have achieved the success I did without his guidance. I am deeply grateful for Dr. Ruby and the MedSchoolCoach program for their assistance throughout this process.
