This was a fun and highly achievable experience. Unlike other activities I've participated in that felt impossible to finish, this one struck the right balance. It even pushed me to stretch beyond my comfort zone on at least one task, which I appreciated. I truly hope you incorporate a few similar activities during the conference!

What I loved most was how it encouraged us to explore our community and have fun together! The app was easy to use, and the missions were so well thought out.

I have LOVED having new ideas and having a competition to do new things and be able to make it fun with rewards. It’s been fun for my family and we have really appreciated it. The only thing I didn’t like was that there were a lot of missions this time that required the spending of money or wasting of food…which is not feasible all the time for us as a low income family.

Great activity that kept us engaged.
We have loved doing this activity for our school with our family. I love that the tasks are doable and not overwhelming, but get us thinking about these topics and talking about them as a family.

Fun, but biased.
Most of the challenges were fairly easy. However, if one does not have Instagram, it made it difficult to fully participate. So, if you are trying to minimize social media the scavenger hunt would make it harder.

Great variety!
I appreciated that there was a variety of types of assignments or “hunts.” Some were super easy like “What book are you currently reading” and others took a bit more time like researching the upcoming keynote. It was fun to take a bit of time to see upcoming vendors and breakout sessions.

Fun and Informational
The experience is a fun way to see, ahead of time, all of the exciting things Show Up For Teachers has to offer and gives me an idea of what I want to accomplish when I am there. For those who are not tech savvy it may be a little difficult for them to accomplish tasks and might leave them feeling left out of the point system.
