sent me a pre approved letter I didnt even respond to for months. meant to trash it but found it in a stack on my desk cleaning up and decided why not have another and just not use it but raise my total credit allowed. credit score was better than when I received the pre approved offer, but they turned me down, hurting my score. how are you going to pre approve me and mail me an offer I didnt ask for just to drop my credit score.

Warning to consumers using Ollo / Merrick Bank: UPDATE, I have already generously called in and was treated poorly, tricked, and given misleading information. Unless ollo is agreeing to reopen my account and restore the good standing, this review will remain the same and my verification/proof will still be forwarded to outside governing agencies as factual vs allegations. Their automated system is incredibly rigid and predatory during family emergencies. Following an ongoing estate issue, my account triggered a returned payment. Even though the payments completely cleared and went through successfully 2 to 4 weeks later, Ollo pocketed the money, charged a returned payment fee, and permanently closed the account without recourse. Their automated portal sent deceptive emails saying the payment program was successfully completed, yet they completely revoked the line of credit anyway. Terrible customer service during a sensitive estate transition."

Ollo sucks!

The first time I used my card since the transition, which was supposed to be smooth, I was sent a text: "If you are making this purchase, verify with this code." I did; my purchase was declined. Then I sat on the phone transferring a couple of times for almost 30 minutes. If it did not ding my credit, I would cancel this card. BTW, after all of that hassle, I was still declined.

Send a offer instead of my card?

I was approved for a card and said it would be in the mail. But instead they send me another offer... Where's the card I signed up for and was approved for thats supposed to be in the mail?

BEWARE OF THIS CARD AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM BEING SCAMMED

It’s impossible to talk to anyone in customer service because it doesn’t exist. I locked the card last month and I had already paid the statement balance but now this month I see that it wasn’t posted and there are NEW CHARGES ON THE CARD I NEVER ACTIVATED! I then locked the card but still got charged for another $160 ish but I still have no idea how this happened or why the card was used when it was not activated and I locked my account. This is awful and unacceptable. I will be contacting the BBB and I guess I have to close the account. I’ve been trying to improve my credit score and it’s finally working in my favor but if I close this account, it’ll affect my credit score. I’d rather not be charged every month for suspicious activity and therefore I have to close the account immediately but good luck trying to do that! It’s really disgusting and disappointing to be offered a credit card “ FOR NURSES “ and then you sign up for this nonsense again?? How do I contact a representative????? Scam card??

I have an Ollo Credit card

I have an Ollo Credit card, and it has ZERO balance, and all of a sudden the company closed my account. Their reason is that I have high utilization in my account when I don't even use. I checked my balance, and it was ZERO for the last 2 months. I don't understand why this credit card company will just close my account. My credit score was up by like 80 points, and my DTI ratio was only 10%.

0 starz..Don't get this card! Rates are extremely extremely high and if you have a major life medical crisis, like I just got diagnosed with cancer. They do not care about you! There's no hardship programs and they have an insurance for 1 week medical insurance. But it is crap and expensive!

I just got a letter from ollo

I just got a letter from ollo. They closed my account due to length of time accounts have been open. And because I haven't used my card in 6 months. Want to keep customers let me know and I will use the card. I didn't know that was a requirement to keep using the card. If your trying to build your credit this card is not a good card to have. And you can't have open accounts with perfect payment history what bullshit!

I wouldn't suggest an Ollo/Merrick account. Got scammed and gathered all paperwork needed and they told me my time was up. Card locked & paying it off and closing the account!!!

Absolutely the worst card I've ever had…

Absolutely the worst card I've ever had in my life. And I'm old! I've been hacked or had fraudulent charges SO MANY TIMES!! And what really pisses me off, I called about this one walmart.com charge MULTIPLE times, they claimed they did not let the transaction go through and walmart was going to refund it. LIES. Over a month later, I call and get the one honest person who works there, and she said there was nothing flagging this $500 charge. Absolutely ridiculous.

2ND CHANCE OPPORTUNITY I had fallen on hard times about a year…

I had fallen on hard times about a year ago. When I got back to where I needed to be,I started receiving pre-approved credit card offers from Ollo. At first I was hesitant about checking them out. After much thought I went 0nline to see if my authorization number would be approved and only waited a few seconds and got my answer right away. Thank you Ollo for giving me that 2nd chance I needed!
