They saved my life and my family!!!!
I struggled my entire life with alcohol and pills. I knew I was addicted but everyday the pull of the bottle overtook me. Passages relentless commercials kept eating at my soul. In a moment of brokenness I told my wife I'd like to get the book. Giving her that window, she not only ordered me the book but also the CD set and shared that there is an entire program to go to in California if ever I should decide. She never pressured me. I would sit in my garage every night getting drunk but I would listen to the CD's. The story of Pax and his father touched me deeply and I knew there could be help to become free of my demons.
One Christmas morning, after a drunken eve the night before, I looked at my wife and my baby and I knew I had to go.
Shortly after that I found myself on a plane heading to Passages and the journey started.
The staff welcomed me with open arms, lovingly with no judgment. It seemed to be a completely different program than other places I have heard about. The teams expertise to be such a perfect combination to heal ALL parts of the body. Head, soul and physical. The acupuncture and hypnotherapy were incredible as well as the group meetings. I know that my wife loving but secretly did her research prior to coming and Passages was by far the top in it's field and thank GOD I am a living example 5 1/2 sober years later. My wife and I are FOREVER grateful for what Passages has done for me. What can one say about a program that truly saved my life. Thank you.

passages A+
I've been to many rehabs, IOPs, and treatment centers but coming to passages really hit home with me. The staff provides great care an are dedicated to the clients with full hearted honestly an will go out of their way to make you comfortable and at the same time provide the MOST therapy to help heal the child within. For once in my life I'm looking forward to the future! If you're ready an want to be sober I suggest passages. It's just amazing.

Passages Ventura was exceptional!
My experience at Passages Ventura was exceptional. The program was customized to address my particular needs and the support staff was very accommodating and comforting. I had lost my wife just prior to attending and although it was difficult, the individual therapy and even the group sessions gave me the support, inner peace, and strength to manage my grief.

Go forward and be rewarded with the best of yourself.
It's five years, now, since my experience at Passages. Five years of sobriety, of good choices, of access to the knowledge that the peace & strength to overcome any obstacle rests securely within myself. Five years of being rewarded for making the choice to commit to a better life, a better lifestyle, and a better understanding of why I used to make decisions that left me troubled. The truth is, I'm grateful I made all those "bad" decisions, because eventually they led me to Passages, where I learned more about myself than I expected to. In the best possible way.
Practically speaking: the team of therapists, coaches, teachers, and staff took excellent care of me. The grounds were welcoming, the food was great, the beds were comfortable. Receiving focused one-on-one care from several therapists had tremendous value. Group sessions were an authentic representation of a community I recognized. Massage-therapy and acupuncture added a level of physical treatment that helped attune my body to the work being done in my mind. And the staff of "client supervisors," with whom I interacted while I wasn't receiving treatment, made the experience of living at rehab easy and, though this may sound strange, fun. Passages hired well. The team was just that, a team.
Getting sober is not easy at first. It hurts. But once I made the decision to give rehab my full commitment, with all my heart, I found that the very same level of dedication to a better life was reflected all around me. Passages wanted me to succeed just as much as I wanted me to succeed. And together, we have.
Five years healthy. Five years clean. Five years of a life I thought I'd never achieve.
Make no mistake - I'm responsible for doing the work - but the team at Passages sure deserves the credit.

First class, world-class compassionate care
Every client who walks through the door at Passages will experience individual care from a team of therapists skilled in working to uncover the cause/causes of dependent behavior/s. I experienced compassionate, caring, professional care. The atmosphere promotes healing in every sense of the word. I am approaching five years free of the dependent behaviors that brought me to Passages. Passages changed my life. Passages gave me back my life. I am forever grateful.

Thank You Passages
Choosing Passages was one of the smartest decisions I ever made. I am 39 years young and had been using drugs and alcohol for 20 of those years. I had been to several other programs, all 12 step, prior to coming to passages, none of them worked for me. Passages was different, it isn't a one size fits all. It is a such an uplifting experience, they focused on the good in me instead of the negative part. They helped me find a path of opportunity in life. With the help of everyone from their therapists and counsellors to the client supervisors, I was able to walk away addiction free and am really living life for the first time in my adult life. I am so grateful for everyone at Passages, I cant thank them enough.
Create change and stay committed,
Daniel Bruce

Life Changing Experience!
I went to Passages Ventura in July 2009. I was addicted to heroin for 7 years and other drugs from the time I was 13. When I came to Passages I had already been to several other treatment centers, all 12-step. Each time I left treatment I felt beat down, had low self-esteem, and felt doomed to be an "addict" for the rest of my life. At Passages I truly learned the subconscious and other conscious reasons I was self medicating and once I understood I was able to heal. The hypnotherapy and spiritual guidance was what helped me the most, but everything there was helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone suffering from addiction that is ready to change their life. Life CAN be so much different.
