Love this program!!!

I use power homeschool for my 15 year-old son and my seven-year-old daughter. We have used the program for years. My children find the content engaging and educational, and we love the freedom of homeschooling our children. It allows us to travel for work without the children missing a beat. As a parent, I find it reassuring that the system handles the grading and record-keeping and then I’m able to request the transcript which is immediately emailed to me. In the parent portal, I’m able to see what my children are working on see where they’re struggling and watch their completion rates without hovering over their shoulder. We really can’t say enough about the program!

I'm Very disappointed this curriculum…

I'm Very disappointed this curriculum limits the amount of lessons I can let my child do in a week to 40 steps. I feel like home schooling your children, you should be able to make the decision how much school they are allowed to do, but of course they are charging monthly, so they do want to be able to push the steps out further, each month so that they can make more money But I think that's very wrong. (All kids learn at differnt pace and for them to say studies have shown..... yes but not all children learn alike that is why we homeschool)Also, each day, they have a goal to finish an amount of lessons and if they go into vector mode, those count as their daily goal, therefore, they're not working towards finishing the end of the year, every single day, if they go into vector modes, that pushes a kid in the school year longer....hence they make more money!
